6-21-25 Progress Update + Art Preview

Two of the three new characters being introduced in the event in the next update are completed, and today we're excited to show you one of them:

That's right, everyone's favorite "basic, average girl" is coming to the park, where she'll be teaming up with MC to go on missions and solve mysteries in the various countries in the EPLOT expansion! Our plan is to split this event into multiple builds, so you can expect 1-2 scenes in this one in addition to the Pocahontas content that was completed by the previous artist. This is in order to get a new build out as quickly as possible. :)

TDI

Implementation has continued. Writing is a bit behind where it should be, but there's only one more animated scene remaining on the art side. The first of v0.04's two new minigames is completed and tested, and all of the vanilla, main storyline interactions have been implemented at this point. Besides the other minigame, the main coding work left to do is on rebalancing the relationship system with the other campers. Having the status max out at 100 wasn't feeling very good to us, when you could pretty easily reach that with everyone after about two weeks. For this reason, we plan on raising the cap some at the end of each week, as well as the requirements for not being eliminated and getting certain scenes. To counterbalance this, we will also be making it so that performance in challenges awards REL with your team directly. This will both give you a potentially pretty large boost right at the beginning of the week, and address a popular survey concern about minigames not feeling useful.
