December Build-A-Sequence Question 3: Story/Trigger!

So far, we have:
"A young woman trying to figure out what to get her boyfriend for the holiday season"
transforms into a Herm Anthro Reindeer!
NOW! It's time to flesh out the story some!
So it's time for the write-in phase: tell me a BRIEF story in 140 characters or less that tells us the trigger/story scenario!
The character concept has a BIT of the scenario involved, but it's still very open ended.
Does she find something while shopping that changes her? Is her change the intended present? Something else? Be creative and Tell me a brief "story"!
I may refine this later depending on the winning suggestion, and I'm also planning on asking a separate question describing character some more, and asking for her reactions to the change as future questions FYI!
Like last time, if there are 20 or less, I will make a poll for all of them. If there are more than 20, I'll do a poll of some of them that I will randomize :)
