Had some good suggestions for some flash backs / call backs to the previous visitors to the cabin we're going to get some scenes from as we round the bend with the story!

And Captured Barn is also all planned out for the rest of the sequence - as Julia starts to ask the right questions of the right person....!

I'm baaaack! News + Panda Popup Pinup!

I'm back in town! My wife and I just got back from our Texas roadtrip - whoof that's a long drive! 14 hours each way, so we spent nearly as much time in the car/driving as doing things on the trip, but still - glad we went. Saw friends and family we hadn't seen in far too long, and hit up some nostalgic places.

Definitely taking a few slow days for a vacation vacation lol - BUT still working on finishing up the couple projects on my books ( and will be working on the standard November projects ( donation art, patreon sketches, plus any credit I get on community funded sequences - I don't have a lot at the moment) - between now and when I reopen commissions Nov 14 :)

So anyone who has a project WIP that they want continued, or wants to sponsor a continuation of a sequence stuck in WIP hell, drop me a line :)

ALSO! Finished one of the two digitally inked and colored pinups on my worklist! Here's a final pinup to go with the Panda Popup sequence!

Personal Project: Mermaid's Touch new iteration

So after doing the Mentorship with Paul Canavan, I've been wanting to do a complete reimagining of the mermaid touch concept - really playing up more fantasy realism, along with more of an edge of danger and mystiue - with murky water.

Took a lot of ref images for this (including jumping into a koi pond and had some pics taken of me lol) and had fun completely redoing this idea from the ground up.

And last but not least - the first three pages of what will ultimately be a 10 page comic set in the 16th century - of a traveling noble woman accosted by a dread beast in the road seeking her riches or her life...

Had some fun blending modern sensibilities with renaissance/heraldic designs for the dragon :3

Cheetah Advanced Lesson: Part 2!

I've been working hard on scanning today a BIG batch of artwork before I leave for my trip next week. I've got everything scanned, but am working through writing/adding dialog for all the sequences. So! I've got about half of them dialoged today! (The Jorogumo donation art, and this! A big second part/follow up to the Cheetah Lesson! )
There is a planned third part that will round out the sequence :)

I have a FUN one for you all this month! I went a little overboard on this one - 11 pages AND over half of the sequence is comics (plus even the solo pages have either multiple characters or multiple legs lol).

I had several requests in different posts for a Jorogumo sequence - and while I've done spider-taurs before, I've done this one just a little differently - AND expanding a bit on the world of the Lesson Series - while being out of the classroom. What happens if secret societies on campus use a serum for a hazing ritual...?

Hey ya'll! I am circling in on finishing off the last of the commissions I took back in July and I'm looking ahead at planning the next commission opening time!

I want to push it far enough out to give me plenty of time to finish my current list, a few other continuations I expect to get paid for between now and the end of October, and a feeew days of guilt-free time off with nothing on my work list.

So!
I'm aiming at FRIDAY NOVEMBER 14.

BUT! I wanted ya'll's input this go around on what time of day works best for you all. I know I only tend to leave slots open for an hour or two at most, so I would like to make it as feasible for as many of you as possible. I'm offering a spread of times that work for me, all in CST (so you can calculate it out for other time zones).
You can vote for as many times as work for you!

If you have any other specific suggestions for this opening you want me to take into consideration, don't hesitate to leave a comment! I can't promise I'll be able to accomodate, but I'm very interested in hearing!

IoDM-style Opera Beaver TF

I had a lot of fun on this commission! The client wanted a 5 part sequence in the art style and tone/setting as the Island of Dr Moreau RPG we made!

So this is his OC, an opera singer transformed into an anthro beaver!

This is a five page digitally inked and colored sequence - and I would definitely be up for taking on more projects like this next commission opening if anyone is interested. I will be opening slots again some time in November (I'll keep ya'll posted as soon as I have decided for sure what day/time and any additional information). With my current pricing, assuming no complex design work for the characters, these run $200/page + 1 background I can reuse for the pages (This background was simple, so $50) - so a sequence like this is $1050 :)

Pink Elephant on the Stage pages 7 - 12

She's here - she's there - she's an elephant on the stage!

And there we have it! Today's batch of scanned art! 37 pages in total across all the sequences! Before the update I also plan on finishing a 5-page IoDM inspired opera singer transformed into an anthro beaver (I showed a glimpse of the digital inks on the monthly VLOG). I've got the sequence inked, and will be working on the colors between now and update day :)

Teddy's Abduction Inserts

Next up: four new insert pages in the "Teddy's Abduction" sequence!

There will be more, and planned so that when these inserts are done it will flow seamlessly between pages 17 and 18 of the original sequence :)

Speaking of alternate endings - with the permission of the original commissioner, someone commissioned an alternate ending for Jess - where she becomes half bull, half woman!

This is a non-canon entry into the Ranch Contract series :)
