Added 2025-02-19 20:00:31 +0000 UTCMy final footage of the SS Unites States on the Delaware river on a very cold, windy, and dreary afternoon. One tug boat nudges it gently downstream, and three steer its bow... slowly... drifting away from Philly forever. A sad day.

We were joining my father who was stationed in Germany. Somehow the final fate of this ship seems to be mirroring the fate of our nation as well. "Through the fish-eyed lens of tear stained eyes I can barely define the shape of this moment in time And far from flying high in clear blue skies I'm spiraling down to the hole in the ground where I hide"
