My Dad had a Texas Instruments computer! It was neat. Silver box, with a keyboard.

I reposted this video with annotations for the comments that were made in this Patreon preview - but no one caught that last flub at the end (but many YouTube comments about it) that I miscalculated the age of the calc by a decade in my outro. Doh!

This does not appear to use reverse notation like my other 70's calcs.

This calculator was always this color, but they do make chemical treatments for plastics made later that get browning because they contain the fire retardants.

Hay Fran ..was just looking into getting the yellow out of old plastic like your calculator....I want to try it but what do you think of it? people use Hydrogen peroxide (Stronger used in hair salons) .

24/4 Enter the first (24) value, if positive, +=, if negative -=. Enter the divisor (4) and press division key (this itechnique is used on some old 4-banger).

I think the negative is because you are using the [ - = ] key not the [ + = ] key. A hint that you're going to subtract the next entry.
