Yea, thats a jaguar in the first film. You can tell by the hood ornament, only a jaguar had one that long and sleek. It was literally a jaguar stretched out on the prowl.

SingularCurve

As a kid in the early '60s, our neighborhood in Hopewell, NJ, was one of the last to have human operators, and our phones didn't even have a dial, with just a round cover where it would have been. We heard in school that we'd soon be upgraded directly to TouchTone service, completely bypassing the dial era. We had handouts and classes about how to use the new-fangled tech, complete with a 2-phone simulator that let us hear the touch-tones, then would make another phone ring and let us practice our phone use etiquette. Mary was our regular noon to 8PM operator. She knew everyone in the neighborhood, if only by name and number, and she also knew all the kids by name. I have fond memories of chatting with her while she was setting up a call to my grandparents in Philly. When the day came and our new Trimline phones were installed, I immediately wanted to tell Mary about them. My Mom tried to stop me as I ran off to the phone, but I got there, picked up the receiver, and heard only the dial tone. I was initially puzzled, then I remembered that we now had to press zero to reach the operator. I did this, but the operator wasn't Mary! My Mom arrived as I was asking the operator where Mary was. She had me say goodbye and hang up, and she gently reminded me that Mary was no longer our operator. I had known this intellectually, but not personally. It felt like having a favorite aunt move away. Soon after this, we heard that Mary would be retiring. A bunch of parents wanted to give her a great send-off, and they got permission to use a school gym for the gathering. I don't remember much from that event, other than I did briefly get to see Mary's face and hear her voice one last time. But her voice didn't sound much like the one I had heard on the phone for years! I realized that, at least for me, losing Mary was too high a price to pay for technological advancement. My disappointment eventually faded as the phone became just another depersonalized tool. Though my life moved on, 60 years later I still remember Mary.
