About ...oh, 10 years ago or so, I looked up if there are any beekeepers in Alaska, and I found that in our State's, "bread basket" the Matanuska valley, there are a few beekeepers but none in the Northern parts of the State. There is sure a lot of fireweed and many other plants that they would love to harvest
