TIL Fran's Deutsch ist ausgezeichnet. Those pencils look fine but I don't think I'd particularly want one. I don't know that the SV bonding explains the unusual hardness. I had to look it up but it seems to be Faber Castell for ‘we glued the graphite to the wood real good’.

2024-07-02 21:21:19 +0000 UTCMy wife was an elementary teachers. Now she tutors the grandkids. She bought rubber/silicone grippers for pens & pencils that are triangular. For the little kids it helps them grip the pencil easier on an adult fashion vs just wrapping their hand around it.
