Time for another teardown - this time it is a faithful appliance that  has gone past its useful lifespan, so let's take a loot at how this  thing works!

Never mind Clive's spudger and vice of knowledge - here we have the Chisel of Clarity!

Zygmunt Dean

Yea, that is where the pressure sensor would be.

Mike

I have an upper arm one (supposedly more accurate). You're supposed to get them recalibrated annually. It would be interesting to find out how they sense your pulse - in that screened box perhaps ?

Bob Pockney

...or a PCB etcher!

Keri Szafir

I was briefly like, whoa, I didn't know Seiko made anything but watches. Lol

Robyn Banks

Perfect pump for a miniature fish tank

Mark Wilkes

I am disappointed. I came to take a loot, and I see no loot to take. ARRRGH!

BobC

I'd have fun with that pump! I'd push 3 volts into it and gradually up the voltage until failure. Yeah, make it go out with a bang!

Matt Wietlispach

I love that teeny tiny pump, it definitely could be repurposed for some nefarious device!

David Peaker

Nice to see I'm not the only one who enjoys taking stuff apart to see how it (doesn') work! Nice!
