2024-03-03 14:19:02 +0000 UTCSome 60 years ago the teacher told us that it we mastered the ballpoint pen we could start using a dip pen. Unfortunately I never fully mastered writing. I have an awful handwriting. And in these days of computers it will be even harder for young people to get to quills. Such a shame.

Are feathers more of a challenge to grip because they're a lot thinner than other pens? It's interesting they used ox gall liquid... I wonder how they found out about its use for that in the first place. Thanks Fran.
