Thank You

Early on, photoresist exposed in a UV tank - later a toner transfer in a heat press. I have done several videos demonstrating my process over the years.

Hi Fran, What's the process for CB tracing you use on your effects pedals?

Oh yeah, I remember the Radio Shack ferric chloride etching system. It totally failed for me too. But a neighbor was a chemist and told me to find something aluminum and drown it in the ferric chloride solution. So I put an aluminum bodied push-button in a glass jar, and in the morning, under the bubbles, there was a stainless steel spring, plastic button cap and some debris. So the useless etching system actually turned out to be a fascinating aluminum object eater. Who knew? The same neighbor told me to stay away from the giant oil stain in the alley below the utility pole where a capacitor dramatically exploded a few days before. I probably wasn't much over 10 years old and having to actually say the full name of the PCB acronym,

I once had something similar that had an electronics circular slide rule as the back cover. I think it was from one of those electronics course-by-mail programs that were so popular in the late '70s, especially with those in the military who could use their GI Bill to pay the exorbitant costs.
