Skylab Tests and Space Dish (1973)

By far the most decomposed 16mm film I have yet attempted to transfer -  but still full of interesting info and some rare sights in testing the  Apollo Command Module for an arctic landing and folding up a giant space dish at the Johnson Space Center.   Some music had to be deleted for a copyright slam - and Sooooo much  adjustment needed, and of course as always I transferred this film with  my own Telecine on its way to the landfill.  Enjoy!

Skylab Tests and Space Dish (1973)

Comments

I remember more about Skylab's re-entry into the atmosphere in the late 70s. If I remember right, I think NASA hoped the Space Shuttle would be ready in time to push Skylab out into a further orbit.

I never get tired of these old NASA films!
