This 16mm film from my archives highlights a stellar list of young Canadians making their own way in the world, many of them now very famous. Most notably in this list is a 19 year old Jeff Healey in his first filmed interview (not TV), playing with his high school band Blue Direction. Also featured is a very early stand up routine from Katie Ford, Scott Mellanby as a college player, game designer David Bradley in his Commodore cavern, as well as racecar driver Scott Goodyear, gymnast Andrea Thomas, and future accomplished violinist Martin Beaver, among others. This film was transferred with my own Eiki Telecine. Enjoy, eh!
