It is only in recent years that I have fully realized what a great privilege has been handed to me by the fact that I am lucky to be a White, Heterosexual, Male, and as such, I have become a great supporter of LBGTQ+ rights. I am currently going through an ever-deepening financial crisis, which is causing me to have to cut down non-essential spending, sadly including many patronages, However, Fran your channel will be the last to face this axe because I love everything you do, are, and stand for. I hope you don't find any of this offensive, words are sometimes difficult for me these days. 🥲

Your answer to the creativity question really puts things into perspective -- you make a lot of awesome videos on a regular basis, so it's extra impressive you can pull that off with the amount of time you have to dedicate to administration. My bad if the trans question was not appreciated, it was just what was on my mind when I saw the call for questions, but I'm totally with you on it not being your job to take that metaphorical bullet. I have been collaborating within confines since 1985. Having the full range of creativity is in some ways more of a challenge. You get involved with a wider spectrum of disciplines. There are tradeoffs, Pros and cons for both collaboration and independent.
