Goodbye FranLab 2.0

Where you go, we go!

John Parker

I've been in crisis mode since Jan 2017 too. It's hard. Back to back family and extended-family illnesses and deaths and mental breakdowns...I'm the last sane functional adult left who has to handle everything. The good (?) news is that I've become proficient at it but I hear you, when you can't risk delegation to others, it's all on you.

I think I'm wired like you are - I can't really feel free to do creative things if I'm dealing with stress and/or depression and general life crap. It's hard! I have a bench full of projects I've been putting off, sometimes for years. I think they'd be fun and satisfying but with life being what it is, especially with COVID, I just can't get my shit together to really focus on that stuff. Be well, take care of yourself, and good luck! I'll keep supporting you no matter how much or little content you publish in the next couple of months.

But most importantly, Fran is invariant under relocation. Fran was, is, and will be Fran. Patience, Grasshopper, patience.

Mike O'Dell

Idea for a video. A stroll around the new neighborhood. Maybe not to close to the lab. (I liked the Philly ride from a year or two ago.)

Fran You are right! Most of use at our age have been on edge! 73-74 for me was the shock and start of a roller coaster ride in life! Your not alone! Most of use have never been in that sweet spot! When we start to get in that sweet spot life gives a whip lash from hell! DONT EXPECT IT TO CHANGE! This time may get ugly! The power that be don’t want to help humanity! But you already know that! Till people realize they have more in common than differences! We will ride the roller coaster! Take a deep breath and hold your arms straight up and flick the negativity off, stop your feet! Breath, I see you clinching and holding your breath! BREATH DEEP! Move on one step at a time! Be positive, have hope! You will survive if you just do research and include events that fill your soul with one happy event a week! Make it happen!

Hi Fran, if it would help, I'd be more than willing to donate a day of a guy with tools to the new FranLab :) All I need is a few days advance notice. It can be electrical, but it could also just be helping put together shelves or hanging things. Whatever you need. You can find my number on my google profile under Petros Electric.

Peter Argyropoulos

Richard Vickers

Take your time. This is a big job. We'll all be here waiting for you no matter how long it takes.

Carol K Stouffer

I'll be there (here?), count on it. Couple of suggestions: Do a time lapse of the building/sorting/installing and upload it with (or without) comment, and keep an eye out for interesting things to spotlight as you are sorting through stuff!

HarveyB

You can count on my and my wife's support no matter what.

Steve Gowin

Not going away! I know your life is crazy so I will be a stable thing for you.

William Alsing

Not going anywhere Fran.. Safe move and remember, life laundry is about feeling lighter not more burdened. *hugs*

veritanuda
