Apollo 16 (1972)

A great 16mm Kodachrome reel telling the adventure of Apollo 16.   Brought to you by NASA, right from my own collection.  Enjoy!

Sure wish we would have made a permanently staffed base on the moon by now, hopefully within the next 30 years it will happen. "Since man invented religion!" Such an honest statement in 1972. Thank you Fran.

Nice!

What a great movie, loved every minute of it. I loved Young and Duke's banter on the moon, it was such a serious, dangerous thing they were doing and doing it with humor, gotta love that!

Interesting... They forgot to include the part where they came out the second day and found the lunar rover on cinder blocks with its tires missing.

This one is going to be difficult to beat. There are so many things to like, but I love John Young's Big Navy Salute - he must be 2' off the ground!
