Added 2020-10-11 05:25:13 +0000 UTCIt's been a long time since I've done an installment of Cassette Time - but here's another short impromptu song made right into my portable cassette recorder. Enjoy!

2020-10-15 16:55:29 +0000 UTCMy favorite part is the clatter at the end to turn off the cassette. I grew up hearing that sound from tapes my family would send from overseas, and when I would record my own songs, as Fran just showed us. Something comforting in that "claketty-clak-clak" at the end. Reminds you there's someone a few feet from the tape player who's just put her/his heart and soul into a live performance and there's been no computer adjustment in the meantime. "Real time" meant something even back in the cassette days...!

2020-10-14 01:04:14 +0000 UTCI think I'm hearing Em - Am - G - D? Whatever it is, that chord progression is pure magic.

2020-10-13 01:25:42 +0000 UTCThat was fun, loved the credits being longer than the song :) and I was even watching to the very end, as sometimes you throw something in at the very last.
