Google Top Ten Questions About Fran

Comments

I feel like the Google suggestions aren't 100% person specific, or 100% ranked based on what people are actually searching. It seems like there's generic questions the Google bot adds for any person related search, or displays questions that the google bot finds quick easy to get information to put in the info box.

In the early days I had put a lot up on Wiki about Frantone and within months it was all deleted.

Well, Google uses YOUR search history first. So, you been checkin' up on Fran, eh? More to the point, use an incognito tab to get the raw info.

I can't remember the specifics but came across a video from The Quartering where he was talking about a girl where she had thousands of male followers that would donate money. When she let slip she had a boyfriend, she lost thousands of followers... haha

I am not (yet) 83, and I'll never look that good. Keep it up.

Sounds a bit like Adele Blanc-Sec, a heroine in a series of French cartoon albums

I don't do birthdays either so I've lost count, but if you are 83 then I think I am 86

David Peaker

In 2001 members from an online forum for Enya fans contributed text, art work, etc. to compile a book that was printed and sent to her for her 40th birthday. Very interesting experience

TIL Fran googles herself. Better watch out. You'll go blind.

Some of those are generic celebrity questions like net worth and marital status appear for a lot of celebrities. So maybe Google adds those generic questions when it identifies you as a celebrity, then it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy that people then click on those questions because Google suggests them. They go to Google with the intention of asking one question and then see the other questions and click on them out of curiosity.

No Wiki page? Let's fix that! Starting with the infobox... what's your birthday? What schooling did you complete? Any spouses or children, present or former? Wait... this list is starting to look hauntingly familiar... 😉 💚

argh... spell-checker. And I hit "enter" by accident a lot.

What is yer name, what is yer quest, what's yer favorite ...... hum, glad to here you're over that concussion. Happy Birthday!!!!!

Jan Snyder-Ellerman

You can ask for corrections and additions on the talk page of the Frantone wiki so long as you follow WP:COI. Although I will note Wikipedia is pretty strict when it comes to self-citing/verifiability and article notability.

I don't think I've ever googled Fran Blanche, I just go straight to the source on YouTube!

Age, education, marital status and net worth are commonly used in American culture to place people in the "proper" social slot. Like it or not the majority of Americans are very class oriented. A good place to observe this phenomenon is a large gathering of people, who do not already know each other very well. So much for our classless society! LOL
