The Journey Continues

I want to thank all of you for hanging in there and supporting FranLab and I have been working on a fun project that I hope you will enjoy seeing when it is completed later next week. So far it is going well, and I have a great photo of today's work that I'd love to post here but it would be total spoilers so I'm holding back. But give me some time and I should have the finished product in a week or so.
I appreciate all the comments too, both here and on YouTube. I know that many of you want me to continue the DSKY display project but I have to reiterate that the hours and dollars that would have to go into that project to get it completed are honestly very substantial, and the money and time investment would be not worth the return as an also ran. Again I'm sorry I let you down. But I'll be doing other things, and I really hope that you decide to stay with me and make those projects possible this year.

I support you because I gained more practical useful information watching your series on the Heathkit IT12 signal tracer than any other videos I have seen. I hope you will finish the last segment with the trouble shooting. I hope when you do you will show step by step how to use the test equipment because that guidance is sorely lacking in the you tube world. You are also very charming in your videos.

2019-05-19 14:53:51 +0000 UTCFran, I haven’t kept up to know about your DSKY project. From what I listened to on your audio update last night it would have consumed an awful lot of Fran Lab resources with questionable return.

2019-05-19 14:48:48 +0000 UTCCan't speak for anyone but myself, but there's no letdown here. I support FranLab because you do awesome projects that you love, and I hope you'll be able to continue doing so for a long time to come. I can only imagine that you personally felt let down by the outcome but I hope your patrons won't be upset about it.

2019-05-19 05:49:11 +0000 UTCSigh. I really wanted *your* DSKY. Where the product was simply the conclusion of a wonderful story with lots of twists and turns. OK, I'll let that go. And my Patreon pledge stays the same simply because even if the DSKY is off your list, I can't wait to see what's next!

2019-05-18 23:02:31 +0000 UTCYou haven't let anyone down Fran, you were unfairly handicapped during a critical phase of the project.

2019-05-18 23:00:52 +0000 UTCJust as long as you keep Franning, things will go well. (Doesn't mean going at a Frantic pace though.) Thanks for all the good stuff, past present and future.
