Shop Hacks: Cheap Movable Shelving

Make your shop bigger the TARDIS way - by making more space!  I decided to add storage without taking up more room by making some movable shelving.  Tucks away neatly in a corner and I can pull it out to get what I need when I need it, and I still keep the open space.  Try it in your own shop!

It looks much more nicer than your other place with that wooden floor.

It's great to see you making stuff and smiling again. ❤️

Ptaaaaang!

This hack cost me exactly $0 - just used what I had on hand.

I was actually thinking of that for the idea!

I have that too - but for more pretty stuff like the HiFi rig, also on wheels.

Had a Python moment, and kept reading Fran's name as "Blanc Mange".

This is what I did in SoCal in a storage space. 9x 4 tier wheeled baker's racks from Lowes means 12 flip-top bins per rack which can be easily moved to get to things in back. Full utilization of space.

Perfect tming on this hack. Got all the parts on hand and wanting to get more from the space.

Definitely a handy idea for shelving you might want to bring over near a desk, like a mobile repair cart but for parts. Ewen PS: next step in density is rolling floor to ceiling shelving like the closed store areas of libraries; it typically needs a reinforced floor though :-)

Hmm, I'm getting a generic YT error when trying to watch the video.
