I don't know what you're recording clips for, but that occurred to me when I was wondering if you were going to sample from your videos or editing software.

It's your thing, you can have it as un-idiot-proof as you want :o) I never key headers either, just mark one end with an arrow in case I'm tired.... I like the 3D case too, and the BIG 70s microswitch - entirely appropriate ! Could you show us the circuit you ended up with, just for interest ? What you did for the filter particularly....
