2018-10-20 15:38:00 +0000 UTCI remember having my 1920's era 8000 lb lathe moved from my shop. they chained it to a flatbed and they pulled the legs out and that broke the casting - it's wasn't easy getting it back off the ground and having the cast iron leg repaired - I had to visit a special welder to have it fixed. Fortunately the move was only 3/4 mile to my house and into my garage.
