Dev Diary, May 2nd, 2025

My computers have been rendering 24/7, working through what I've posed and saved. 1,996 frames of animation and 78 story renders to be exact.

I've mentioned before that I like to render the scenes in a chronological manner, from the first to the last scene, the same way you would play it. This time, I have to do it a bit differently. I learned that getting the Steam approval takes more than two months now (compared to the two weeks with LoF), so the goal is to put together a playable version as soon as possible, so it can be submitted for approval, and then add route variations in the very end before the release.

So, in the upcoming weeks, I'll be working on the end-of-season scenes, even though I'm not close to that part of the story yet. But these should be a blast to do, since I've been looking forward to doing them for years now.

I was browsing through some images to find a preview for you guys and found this one. I didn't put in any special effort for it, but it turned out great and reflects the moment in the story perfectly.

Finally the penny has dropped for me! (In German: Endlich ist bei mir der Groschen gefallen :-) ) It took a while, but now I understand your system in the development of the game. There will be several seasons, which in turn will be divided into episodes. Obviously, you have a clear idea of the future development of the story and you have a lot of fun working on it. I am very excited about the further results of your great work, thank you for that!
