Heavy focus on the animations this week. In fact, that's all I've done. The final animation was completed, post-worked, and saved right before writing this, which wraps up Nyah's special moment.
As mentioned earlier, Nyah is based on the Genesis 9 model, so this was the first time I've animated Genesis 9. It's a lot of fun doing new things, and it really made me appreciate that model more, as it's more versatile than the much more used Genesis 8.1 version.
To give an example, even though it's more on the technical side it should be easy to understand. The Genesis 8.1 model breast has one 'bone' (a part that can be animated). That's it. Genesis 9 has three bones - with an additional two for the nipple alone. More fun for everyone.
I might convert more of the girls into Genesis 9, but it requires a lot of work, so it's something I'll have to do gradually.
In total, 2,943 animated frames were produced this week, setting a new record for me. That means I've exceeded the animation number for both episodes 1 and 2. It also means I could have made a full-feature, 90-minute animated movie in about 14 months at that tempo, but not all weeks are going to be equally good - or animated-oriented.
Now, it's time to shift attention to the Jackster.
Oh, and a little something I did for someone. You might recognize her. More on that later.
Have a nice weekend, and as always, stay safe out there.
