Dev Diary, November 29th, 2024
Added 2024-11-29 13:00:14 +0000 UTCThe render marathon has definitely begun. The numbers are at 154 story renders, and 729 animated frames so far, and I've worked my way through the prologue and all the versions of the intro.
For the preview this time, it's you and Nyah on the bench again. This time the roles are reversed.
One thing I love about Nyah is that she changes slightly from episode to episode, and I feel I've been able to give her a more 'mature' look without changing her appearance, to show that she's evolving as time progresses. This also counts for her mannerisms. Once this episode completes season 1, you'll see that there's very little left of the scared girl you met in episode 1.
Other than that, there isn't much to say. As I mentioned, it's a marathon, and at the start of making each episode it seems like a huge mountain to climb, but by attacking it one scene at a time and not thinking about the episode as a whole, it's a very gratifying process seeing it come together.

I'm sorry to hear that, but I appreciate the feedback. U4iA isn't meant to be a LoF type of game, but we're at the point now where things start getting romantic, and the world-building should be done. :)
