You decide to leave your old life behind and set a course for this mysterious island you've been hearing about. Settling down comes with its own set of problems. But as you make new friends, your past can't seem to let you go.
As you start getting used to your new life in this remote location, you also meet many people. All of them have a story of their own. Things are starting to look good. But things are not all what they seem.

U4iA - v2.01p->v2.02p - Changelog (major changes):
- CHANGED: removed the free-roam at the docks in episode 1
- CHANGED: removed all perks from the game
- CHANGED: removed 'time' from all free-roams
- CHANGED: simplified some free-roams with easy exits/skips
- CHANGED: perception stat replaces the old finesse stat to replace the perception perk
- ADDED: informative text to the beach-roam
- IMPROVEMENT: several touch-ups to the stats system
- IMPROVEMENT: made phone pop up if there's something there that needs your attention
- IMPROVEMENT: changed the beach-roam arrows to the normal arrows to improve visibility
- VISUAL: fixed a series of renders where MC's hand clipped into Jackie's shoulder.
- VISUAL: fixed a lighting mistake on the more feisty Geneva lunch version.
- BUG: removed a phone variable that was displayed in the dialogue.
- BUG: fixed some episode 1 recap screen errors (Synne, Teagan).

- FIX: grammatical errors/typos
- Savegame compatibility with v2.01p should be good, as long as you're fine with your MC having a stat build that's not achievable in this version. In other words, your saves should be fine.

- CHANGED: re-inserted some images that went missing in 2.02p
- CHANGED: lowered requirement to stop Tuesday from stealing your phone

Hey Drifty - started U4iA recently, and I really enjoy the story (though it's already messing with my muscle memory of phone being in the bottom left. π ), and can't wait for ep3. Just wanted to let you know of three small issues I've found - 1) just something jarring, but that otherwise has no impact whatsoever - throughout ep1, various bits have low-detail/low quality textures (examples are - weathering on the yacht or the star decal on the pink bench Teagan is sitting on). It's a nothingburger though, and I suspect trying to fix those would be more trouble than it's worth it, since you'd probably have to re-render the affected scenes. 2) more serious one, with a potential softlock - in ep1, during the cloud nine section after you get your drink from Anita and go to talk to Teagan (don't talk with Deedee yet) - aften Teagan goes to the bathroom, if you then interact in any way with Deedee, the render loops back to the "before talking with Teagan" (Gina and Paige return to their spot) and you can't access the door to the bathroom/VIP area. Which fortunately you can just roll back enough or load a quicksave. 3) more of a curiosity - in ep2, during beach party when Lars asks you to look for things - you can straight away check showers for jet ski key, grab it and it's alright, just that it doesn't disable the interaction, so you can just go to the showers again, and grab the key again. And again. And again if you feel like it. Eventually, when the cabin is occupied by Celeste, you can still go in, ask for the key and she will give you one. So uh, just how many of those keys are scattered in that cabin? :) Haven't tried, but I think encountering Celeste properly disables the showers. Also, on the topic of phone - I like there is a full list of songs you can play during free-roams at any time, but I'd love if it would indicate the track that's currently playing (like a small triangle/play symbol next to the track name, maybe different font color as well) and also some way to do that outside of free roams or when you have otherwise no access to your phone. Anyway, as said, can't wait for the story to unfold further, and thank you for delivering us such quality stuff. π

I loved LOF, i laughed, i cried, i was intertained from start to finish, i may have pulled some alnighters. I get so many of the same fantastic vibes from u4ia. It is absolutely fantastic. Now, episode 2 has been completed and damn... Keep up the fantastic work and I love the way you teamed up with Stone Fox :-) cant wait for episode 3.

Btw, I will tell you that I am glad I played through the Lexi path on LoF before playing Chasing Sunsets. There is a spoiler that, if you catch it, gives away the ending. But I think the interaction and sharing between you and other programmers is ingenious and adds a lot to the game. You guys need to work on a crossover once Sunsets ends.

When I first get to choose my traits, it is allowing me to select the Perceptive trait with no problem, however, it's not allowing me to use the second of the two points. I am assuming I have to select the "Loved" trait but when I click on learn, nothing happens and I can't move forward.

Also, your game turned me onto Stone Fox, for which I have also become a donor. I was wondering, if U4ia Episode 1 is out, how do I get it? I tried finding it on Steam with no success.

Note to developers...want to stop players from rolling back to make other decisions or making multiple save files to play the game quickly? Give them so many good choices their head spins.. I am going to have to play this about twenty times.. That is a good thing. I am also officially afraid of the skip button... :D

And if so how will it look now? No free roam at the docks so what about those choices? No perks so how will we shape our MC and what about romantic choices within the dialogues (if you had that perk before)?
