Erick Castillo

I hope Nipsey Hustle - Victory Lap is on the reation radar as well. It will defnitley take you down a rabbit hole of why he was so highly respected. Kedrick also has a crazy feature on the album

Kyle

Mac Miller definitely got better with every album 💡

chaddytwiceover

you guys need to do cartoons and cereal

Fizzdragon

I’ve never recommended him to anyone, but Joyner Lucas with his story telling lyrics and the videos he makes to go with them. Missy Elliot , Lusacris , Busta rhymes all have hilarious and interesting music videos. Eminem also had a lot of fun videos like Superman or my dance D12. Kanye, Drake , Nicki Minaj all had interesting videos. Those are just the ones I can recall off the top of my head.

Obi Wan Kenobi

COMPTON IN THIS BISHHH

changuito

Joey bada$$- like me video is pretty good. Also flying lotus videos are always great check out never catch me featuring kendrick, until the quiet comes short film, and coronus the terminator are all really good

Devan Laney

Saw the YT post on this and decided it was about time I joined ❤️

Alex Twite

I loved this. At some point you guys should cover "dedication". It's a song that Kendrick and Nipsey did together. As far as music videos, Outkast-B.O.B (Bombs over Baghdad)

Truthbringer -

Dreamville - sacrifice Music Video you both would love

Kwan wallace

Hope Nipsey Hussle Victory lap is soon

I was thinking MGK

nah that's good babes, cheers

fuck it up fuck it up fuck it up

nah that's good babes, cheers

maybe it's wishful thinking but Kendrick usually drops these shortly before an album release and he couldn't name the latest track as part of The Heart series (because Drake "owned" him on The Heart Pt6). So, does this mean we're getting a new Kendrick album pretty soon? hmmm....

nah that's good babes, cheers

Loved your reaction. This is one of my favorite Live Kendrick performances if you guys want to check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sop2V_MREEI

Preston Eastridge

Timeless reaction please 😭

Txkumi

Seconded!

Mo

I would recommend watching “count me out” music video by Kendrick Lamar if you guys haven’t watched it already.

Jonathan Lopez

Missy Elliot “Sock it to Me “ Is a great video to check out

Michael Franklin

Just a suggestion for future music video reaction - Clams Casino All Nite ft Vince Staples. Its a very creative music video directed by Ryan Staake (who also directed Young Thug's Wyclef Jean MV)

HiSO

adding to the music video discussion/recommendation Rammstein - Deutschland (Official Video) Totally different genre to what we're used to , but could be refreshing and fun to watch :) plus the song is good too

Dusty Moizo

Need you guys to react to nothing was the same and if you are reading this it’s too late by drake!

mohamed rafee

love this series! if you haven't watched the count me out video by Kendrick you guys should!

Mo

An artist that consistently gets better is Denzel Curry for sure!!

All right, for the Heart part 4 I remember exactly how the discourse around it went. The whole speculation was that the song was mostly for Drake but also threw a lot of shots at Big Sean. This theory was also supported by HUMBLE.. TH4 was released on March 23rd, 2017 and a week later, Kendrick released his single, (but only as a music video), HUMBLE. A lot of people speculated that humble was a diss towards Big Sean due to the hook repeatedly having the ad lib "lil bitch" which was a known Big Sean ad lib at the time. The speculation with the album and tracklist went crazy at the time. There were theories about him dropping a double album. One on april 7th, and then one a week later. However, the only thing to happen on April 7th, was a iTunes listing for Kendrick's new album, with no album art nor tracklist song names. Just all composers who were on the album. And on April 11th, Kendrick confirmed that the album would be dropping on the 14th, and he released the album artwork, and the tracklist was revealed. It was one of the wildest times in hip hop. Also, I want to point out something about Kendrick Lamar videos that I have always appreciated. I first noticed it in the humble music video. He messes up his words often, and just continues with it. And they always keep it in. He did it a lot in TH5 video and not a lot of people notices it. As far as the song goes for TH5, I think that the message at the beginning of the video is the best support to the thesis I support. "i am all of us" Seeing that, TH5 was the precursor to Mr. Morale is a big clue. Mr Morale's entire premise was simply explaining to the audience that Kendrick is as human as everyone else. He is not perfect by any means, and he is as flawed as the rest of us, hence the statement, "I am all of us". He then proceeded to shift his face into a lot of controversial yet impactful black men in our culture. Talking about all of their flaws, whilst acknowledging some of their achievements. To point out how they are not as perfect as the world perceives them to be, and that's okay. When you look at songs such as "Mother I Sober", Count Me Out", "Savior", or even "Father Time", the themes of this song becomes even clearer. Either way, I am done with all of my rambling, thank you all for reacting to this series, and thank you for everything that you do!!🙏🏿🙏🏿 P.S. definitely recommend checking out Baby Keem's album "The Melodic Blue" or at least the song featuring Kendrick Lamar called "Range Brothers". Another amazing and hilarious track in the tone of "The Hillbillies"

iameNeRG (Rodney Gant)

Heart 4 was towards drake and big sean. Drake responded towards this song with subliminals. This song as you mentioned was before damn and on damn, the original version of Element, kendrick actually says big sean(and others) by name. But eventually changed the verse and beat. It got leaked, you can find it on youtube, Element OG version. They asked big sean how he felt and he said there's no problem, he and kendrick squashed the beef behind the scenes. He said since the song got leaked , that it don't count, because if it was a official release he would of responded.

Miklo

Excited to get into this

FigLeaf Bicarbonate

I recommend you to react to "Prayer" its an unrealesed song by Kendrick and I think its one of his best songs even though he never dropped it

Alex GG

You asked about music videos at the end. I keep a playlist of ones I find interesting, here are some of my favorites from that list that you might have not seen: - Brockhampton - STAR (I can't remember if you've covered any Brockhampton on the channel, in any case they've got lots of good music videos, particularly those from the SATURATION era) - Frank Ocean - Nikes (This one is only on Vimeo, somewhat NSFW) - Self Esteem - I Do This All The Time - Monsune - OUTTA MY MIND - Tame Impala - Lost In Yesterday - DJ Shadow - Nobody Speak (feat. Run The Jewels) - A$AP Rocky - A$AP Forever - Radiohead - Follow Me Around - Khruangbin - Evan Finds The Third Room - Röyksopp - Remind Me
