It's definitely required if he is going up against Azazel, but even the Ghouls were basically just a blip, not really an issue and gone very quickly without a problem, and then right back into MCs obsessed researcher routine. It's all very necessary, but it kind of feels like a lot of exposition. In any case, I can't wait to read the next chapters when they come out. Thanks.
