[Chat Group For The Death] Chapter 56 - 60

Chapter 56 Golden Lion: Fortunately I didn’t join the Marine!

Lucas smirked

Shiki: "No problem! Golden Lion, I received your reward. Now, can you give me your sword skills?"

Golden Lion Shiki: "Wait, I haven’t sent you mind yet? Shihahahaha…. Well here, keep them!"

The familiar notification echoed in Lucas’s mind.

"Ding! Golden Lion Shiki sent an exclusive red envelope [Swordsmanship - Great] to group leader Lucas."

A wave of information flooded Lucas’s consciousness as he absorbed the techniques of Shiki Swordsmanship.

He felt the essence of Shiki’s unique swordsmanship integrate seamlessly into his own. With a slight stomp of his foot, the ground beneath him trembled, and two long swords made of solidified earth rose into his hands, their edges glinting menacingly under the sunlight.

"Come on, Pirate Hunter. Let me teach you a thing or two about swordsmanship," Lucas said with a confident grin. "By the way, this is a favor from Golden Lion Shiki himself. He wanted me to pass this on to you."

Without hesitation, he tossed the famed blade Shusui toward Zoro. "I'll lend you this sword for now. Try not to break it. After all, you don’t have Haki yet, which means you can’t protect the blade properly."

Zoro caught Shusui mid-air, the weight of the legendary weapon familiar yet exhilarating in his grasp. A fierce gleam flashed in his eyes as he once again wielded three swords, gripping Wado Ichimonji between his teeth. His fighting spirit ignited like a roaring flame.

"Golden Lion Shiki?" Zoro muttered, narrowing his sharp eyes at Lucas. "You mean that legendary pirate our captain defeated?"

Zoro smirked, his stance shifting as he prepared to attack. "Why would he be so generous as to have you teach me?"

In an instant, he lunged forward, slashing with incredible speed.

Lucas, unfazed, raised his earthen swords and met the attack head-on. The clash echoed through the air, sending sparks flying. Despite Zoro’s fierce assault, Lucas blocked effortlessly, his movements fluid and precise.

"Because," Lucas said casually, as he effortlessly deflected Zoro’s blade, "he believes his defeat was unfair. He wasn’t beaten by you."

With a slight twist of his wrist, Lucas channeled an overwhelming force through his swords, sending Zoro staggering backward.

"He asked me to use his swordsmanship to prove to him that you’re no match for him!" Lucas declared, his tone laced with amusement.

Zoro gritted his teeth, his muscles tensed as he steadied himself. He refused to back down. With newfound determination, he launched another attack, striking with relentless speed and force. But Lucas remained a step ahead, his superior skill evident as he parried each blow effortlessly.

It was almost unfair.

Lucas handled Zoro like an experienced master dealing with an overeager disciple. No matter how much force Zoro put behind his attacks, Lucas countered each one with minimal effort, as if toying with him. The difference in skill was undeniable.

After several more exchanges, Lucas finally disengaged, stepping back with a smirk. "You’ve improved, but you still have a long way to go before you can even dream of surpassing me."

Zoro clenched his fists, frustration evident on his face. But deep down, he knew Lucas was right. He was too weak now, to weak to truly help achieve his captain dream. But he will not give up.

No… He will never give up.

Lucas, having gained the swordsmanship of Ryuma and some of the memories ingrained in the skill itself, knew what it took to reach the pinnacle of the blade.

But this is not for him, the system has help him with a truly overpower cheat.

Lucas stayed at Mihawk for a few days. After all, Roger, Whitebeard, and Golden Lion all wanted Lucas to compete with Hawkeye with their swordsmanship.

They are all seniors of Mihawk. They were conceited when they were alive, and it was impossible for them to compete with Mihawk. Now that they have Lucas as a substitute, and their competitive spirit has come up again.

A few days passed.

Mihawk, the current world’s strongest swordsman, observed Lucas with intrigue. "Golden Lion Shiki’s Lion Style Swordsmanship, Roger the Pirate King’s ultimate technique, Divine Departure, Whitebeard’s raw power-based swordsmanship, Ryuma the Swordsman’s lightning-fast Slash... You have truly brought me many surprises."

His usually stoic expression softened slightly, revealing a rare glimpse of genuine emotion.

For the first time in years, Mihawk felt something stir within him—excitement. A challenge. A true test of his swordsmanship.

Having encountered and adapted to so many refined techniques, Mihawk felt his own swordsmanship evolve. He had been undefeated for years, standing at the peak of the sword world. Yet, Lucas’s presence made him feel as though he was once again making strides forward.

Lucas shook his head, a faint smile on his lips. "You should have fought Whitebeard back in the day. You two followed similar paths."

Mihawk raised an eyebrow.

Indeed, Mihawk’s swordsmanship revolved around sheer power. The massive black blade in his hand, Yoru, was a testament to that. The weight, the length—it was designed for devastating strikes. Unlike the speed-oriented slash techniques of Ryuma, Mihawk’s style revolved around overwhelming force. His swordsmanship was not about finesse but about pure destructive capability, honed to perfection.

Ryuma, the legendary Sword God, had wielded the world’s most refined Slash—a technique that struck like lightning, swift and precise.

Mihawk, the world’s greatest swordsman of today, wielded the world’s most devastating slash—a force capable of cutting mountains in half.

Lucas glanced at Zoro, who was still gripping Shusui reluctantly. "Give it back."

Zoro clicked his tongue but returned the famed blade. Lucas took to the skies with a powerful leap, leaving behind Mihawk, Zoro, and the others.

Just as he ascended, his Den Den Mushi rang.

"Bulu…Bulu….Bulu!"

Lucas retrieved it and answered. "Lucas here."

Marco’s voice came through the line. "The Marine’s Black Arm Zephyr is here. He specifically asked for you."

Lucas raised an eyebrow in mild surprise. "Really? Well, treat him well. Let him wait patiently—I’ll be back soon."

He ended the call and quickened his pace, slicing through the skies at an even greater speed.

Meanwhile, within the chat group, old acquaintances of Zephyr were engaged in lively discussion.

Pirate King Roger: "That old warhorse, Zephyr, actually came to find you? Looks like he’s made up his mind to leave the Marine."

Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! Good thing I never joined the Marine. Choosing to be a pirate was the smartest decision I ever made!"

Whitebeard: "Really now? With your personality, Golden Lion, have you ever seriously considered being a marine?"

Golden Lion Shiki:"Of course not! But I did have the talent for it. Back then, an old marine saw my greatness and kept trying to convince me to join."

Pirate King Roger: "And in the end, you refused?"

Golden Lion Shiki: "I was almost fooled, but luckily, I was smart enough to go check out the Marine base for myself."

Lucas: "And then?"

Golden Lion Shiki: "Then I realized being a marine meant following orders, listening to superiors, and doing what I was told. I’m not cut out for that! So, I told them to shove it and walked away. Shihahaha!"

Chapter 57: What a Crazy Old Guy!

Inside the headquarters of the Whitebeard Pirates, Lucas met Black Arm Zephyr, who had been waiting for him for a long time. The former admiral looked haggard, his eyes clouded with turmoil. As soon as he spotted Lucas, he quickly stood up and waved.

"You're finally here!"

Zephyr let out a heavy sigh before speaking. "I have something important I need to discuss with you."

Lucas nodded, studying the man before him. "I’m now a wanted criminal by the World Government, yet you sought me out… Have you retired from the Marine?"

Zephyr gave a bitter smile. "Yes. After hearing what you said that day, I couldn’t get it out of my mind. I won’t lie to you—at one point, I had a crazy plan to completely eliminate all the pirates in the New World."

Lucas’s heart stirred. He feigned ignorance and asked, "What plan?"

Zephyr’s expression darkened. "There are three geographic Endpoints in the New World connected to the magma flows beneath the seabed. If the magma on these islands is detonated, the entire New World would be engulfed in destruction. Every pirate in this sea would be wiped out."

The moment those words left his lips, chaos erupted in the chat group.

Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! Is this really the Black Arm Zephyr I knew? The admiral who refused to kill even the most vicious criminals now wants to annihilate an entire sea?!"

Pirate King Roger: "It seems the World Government’s actions really pushed him over the edge. With his sense of justice, he’d never come up with something this extreme otherwise."

First Hokage, Senju Hashirama: "What a crazy old guy!"

Having spent time talking with the members of the chat group, even visitors from other worlds like Hashirama had developed a basic understanding of the One Piece world. The sheer scale of the New World and the countless lives within it made Zephyr’s plan all the more shocking.

Lucas remained calm as he slowly spoke. "Even if your plan were successful, its effectiveness would be limited. Kaido of the Beasts and Charlotte Linlin both have the ability to fly. Your plan wouldn’t kill them."

Zephyr’s fists clenched, but he remained silent.

Lucas continued, "Perhaps you’d eliminate some officers or even senior commanders of the Four Emperors’ crews, but the real threat isn’t the subordinates. The Pirate Emperors are the foundation of their forces. As long as they live, they’ll always be able to rebuild."

Zephyr exhaled heavily. "I know. I’ve thought about it. But at the time, it was the only solution I could see. Fortunately, your words made me realize something—the true root of piracy isn’t the pirates themselves. It’s the World Government."

His voice grew colder. "As long as the World Government needs pirates, piracy will never disappear. And if the day ever comes when they no longer need pirates, then they won’t need the Marine either. At that point, they’ll rule the world completely."

Zephyr let out a bitter chuckle. "The Marine isn’t blind. Many of us know how corrupt the World Government and the Celestial Dragons are. But for the sake of stability, we compromise. If the Marine were to disappear, the World Government and the Celestial Dragons would have no opposition left, and the world would be plunged into something even worse than the Great Pirate Era."

Lucas listened attentively before asking, "So, what do you want from me?"

Zephyr shook his head. "I don’t know. That’s why I came to you. I have a feeling you want to overthrow the World Government, don’t you?"

Lucas didn’t hesitate. "Yes. Those arrogant bastards sit on their thrones looking down at the world—it pisses me off. Since you’re here, you should stay a while. You didn’t leave the Marine alone, did you?"

Zephyr nodded. "After Leading the pirate guerrilla squad, I had already distanced myself from the Marine. Now that I’ve officially left, my squad have chosen to follow me."

Lucas grinned. "Perfect. In that case, have them come to my territory and serve as the Marine!"

Zephyr froze, his face a mix of shock and disbelief. "What did you just say? You want my Neo Marine to act as the Marine… in pirate-controlled territory?!"

Lucas spoke with complete confidence. "Exactly. If we’re going to replace the World Government, we need to start laying the groundwork now. My territory is already vast, but there are still plenty of troublemaking pirates. Having your forces maintain order would be beneficial."

Many people assumed that the Four Emperors' territories were completely secure, but that was far from the truth. The reputation of an Emperor’s flag could deter most, but ambitious pirates seeking to claim the title of Emperor had no such reservations. Every year, countless challengers attacked the territories of the Four Emperors, hoping to take their place.

Zephyr frowned in thought. "Isn’t Whitebeard’s pirate in charge of managing your territory?"

Lucas shook his head. "They’re pirates. They’re great when it comes to battle, but maintaining law and order like the Marine? That’s not their specialty. Don’t worry—I’ll make sure they withdraw in advance to avoid any clashes with your people."

Chapter 58: Why Can’t It Be Me?

In the chat group.

Whitebeard: "You want to hand over my territory to the Marine led by Black Arm Zephyr to manage?"

Lucas: "What do you mean by your territory? That’s my territory. Besides, your sons aren’t suited for governance, so just let them focus on training!"

Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! So, you’re planning to replace the World Government? If you have the ambition, I’m optimistic about you!"

An ambitious man like Shiki had never fulfilled his dream of ruling the world during his lifetime, but he found it thrilling to watch someone else attempt it after his death.

Fire Fist Ace: "I remember Luffy’s father is the leader of the Revolutionary Army. Do you want to cooperate with him? Their goal is also to overthrow the World Government."

Lucas: "Fire Fist Ace, you’re still too naive."

Whitebeard: "Gurarara! Foolish son, even if two groups share the same goal, that doesn’t mean they’ll cooperate. Look at all the pirates who want to find the One Piece—do they work together?"

Fire Fist Ace: "That’s different! There’s only one Pirate King position, but overthrowing the World Government is a shared goal."

Pirate King Roger: "No, it’s the same! The real issue is leadership."

Lucas: "Exactly! The Revolutionary Army wouldn’t accept me as their leader just because I’m strong, and I wouldn’t follow anyone else. How much do you even know about the Revolutionary Army?"

Whitebeard: "Garp’s son has been leading them actively in recent years, but they’re still not strong enough. They’ve been forced to operate from the shadows, but their ideology of freedom has attracted many followers."

Lucas sneered. "Their ideology? Ideals are just slogans. People shout them, but they can’t always be taken seriously. Do you know why the Revolutionary Army hasn’t truly grown stronger?"

Pirate King Roger: "Why?"

Roger, as someone who once inspired dreams of freedom, was particularly interested in the topic.

Lucas: "Their leader encouraged his son to become a pirate. Can a group led by such a man really earn the people's trust? If they replace the World Government, will they solve the pirate problem that plagues ordinary people?"

Whitebeard: "I think so. The Revolutionary Army doesn’t seem fond of pirates. Once they take over, they’ll probably suppress piracy."

Lucas: "Oh? Will they suppress their leader’s son, Straw Hat Luffy? The same son their leader personally encouraged to set sail as a pirate?"

Fire Fist Ace: "This..."

Lucas: "Exactly. There’s a high chance they wouldn’t. So, tell me—how different is this Revolutionary Army from the current World Government? If the leader’s son gets privileges, how is that any different from the Celestial Dragons’ privileges?"

Lucas: "If they’re not much better than the World Government, why should anyone help them seize power? The process of overthrowing the government would cause massive destruction, yet in the end, nothing would really change."

Lucas chuckled darkly. The Revolutionary Army under Dragon was nothing remarkable.

Many people failed to understand that revolutions weren’t inherently democratic. Simply toppling a regime, like overthrowing a king, could still lead to the same oppressive systems under a new ruler.

It was this flaw in the Revolutionary Army that had stopped strong, righteous men like Fujitora from joining them. Instead, he had chosen to remain with the Marine, hoping to reform the system from within.

Ace couldn’t help but defend his brother’s father.

Fire Fist Ace: "The Revolutionary Army isn’t as bad as you make them sound. Many people on the sea believe in them."

Lucas: "Sure, they’re better than the current rulers—for now. But when the World Government was first founded, it wasn’t necessarily worse than the Revolutionary Army. Over time, corruption seeps in."

Lucas: "Let me ask you this—do you know Garp? The so-called Marine Hero, Iron Fist Garp? One of the few ‘righteous’ men at sea? Do you know his most famous quote?"

Whitebeard: "What quote?"

Lucas: "Pirates are unforgivable, but family is different. So he let his grandson go and indulged his son."

Lucas sneered. "What an incredible way to justify favoritism and corruption!"

Roger tried to defend his old friend.

Pirate King Roger: "That’s a bit harsh. Forcing him to go against his own family is cruel."

Lucas: "You misunderstand me. I’m not condemning him—I’m pointing out a universal truth: those in power always have privileges!"

Lucas: "Do you all remember the Battle of Marineford? Straw Hat Luffy, despite his mediocre strength at the time, managed to wreak havoc in a battlefield filled with top-tier fighters. And yet, he survived. Why do you think that is?"

Lucas: "Because Garp is a Marine hero. Even when Luffy stormed Impel Down, freed dangerous criminals, and disrupted a major execution, the Marine still let him walk away!"

Lucas: "Isn’t that ironic? The Garp family and the Celestial Dragons really aren’t that different."

Lucas: "Garp dedicated his life to maintaining peace at sea, earning great contributions. Because of that, he could protect his grandson, no matter what crimes he committed."

Lucas: "The Celestial Dragons’ ancestors founded the World Government and the Marine. Their contributions are even greater. So why is it shocking that they have even more privileges?"

Lucas: "Garp always insulted the Celestial Dragons, calling them trash. But what right does he have to look down on them when his own family enjoys unchecked privileges?"

Lucas: "The Celestial Dragons’ ancestors made great contributions, so their descendants can abuse power without consequence. Garp’s contributions aren’t as great as theirs, so Luffy can only get away with slightly less."

Silence filled the chat group.

Ace hesitated.

Fire Fist Ace: "Luffy hasn’t done anything evil, though."

Lucas: "Do you even know how many dangerous criminals he freed from Impel Down? Do you know how much suffering those prisoners caused afterward? And let’s not forget you—you’re just another pirate who eats for free everywhere. Do you really have the right to defend anyone?"

Fire Fist Ace: "…"

Lucas: "I’m not mocking them. In fact, their morals are among the best in the world. But even they can’t escape the reality—power grants privilege."

Lucas: "So, if someone is going to hold that power, why can’t that person be me?"

Chapter 59: Whitebeard Jr.

Lucas found Marco and gave him an order: "Gather the members of the Whitebeard Pirates and give them formal training. The task of guarding the territory will be handed over to the Neo Marine led by Black Arm Zephyr."

Marco was puzzled. "Why?"

Lucas replied, "Because you’re not suited for it. Becoming fighters is your true path. Of course, if someone wants to take on marine duties, they can be transferred to the Neo Marine."

Marco nodded without objections and quickly relayed the order. However, it wasn’t long before he returned, his face grim.

"There’s a guy calling himself Whitebeard Jr. roaming the New World and attacking our pirate groups one after another…"

In the chat group, Whitebeard exploded in fury.

Whitebeard: "Damn you, Stussy! How dare you push that idiot to harm my sons?"

Golden Lion Shiki: "Hahahaha! Whitebeard, is this a family struggle?"

Whitebeard: "Golden Lion, shut up! Lucas, please get rid of Whitebeard Jr.."

Lucas: "No problem! I was going to deal with this fool even without you asking!"

In the original history, Stussy had led Whitebeard Jr. to attack the pirate groups once under Whitebeard’s flag, searching for the legendary treasure he supposedly left behind. Now, despite the Whitebeard Pirates having Lucas as their backer, Stussy and Whitebeard Jr. still dared to stir trouble. To Lucas, this was outright provocation, and he wasn’t about to tolerate it.

"Gather everyone and prepare for something big!"

Lucas assembled the Whitebeard Pirates' main combat force on an island that could serve as a base. Then, using the Float-Float Fruit’s power, he lifted the entire base into the air, heading straight for Whitebeard Jr..

In the chat group, Whitebeard was stunned.

Whitebeard: "Is it really necessary to mobilize so many people just to deal with Whitebeard Jr.?"

Lucas: "Who said I’m only dealing with Whitebeard Jr.? I’m going after Kaido too!"

On a small island in the New World, a massive figure resembling Whitebeard swung a naginata, locked in fierce battle with a striking woman with light blue hair.

This woman possessed a Devil Fruit ability. With a simple wave of her hand, she conjured vast amounts of ice to restrict her opponent’s movements.

She is Whitey Bay, the Ice Witch—captain of one of Whitebeard’s forty-three allied pirate crews. A Paramecia ice-type fruit user, her ability was similar to Aokiji’s, though she couldn’t transform into ice herself.

[*Tl: didn’t find her devil fruit anywhere, but it is stated that she has a power that allows her to breath an icy chilly breath that freeze whatever it is breathed on, so just assuming that she is likely a paramecia ice-type user]

"Damn, this idiot is way too strong!" she muttered through gritted teeth. "Deputy Captain, bring out my icebreaker!"

After exchanging blows with Whitebeard Jr. for a while, Whitey Bay realized she was no match for his sheer brute force. She made the decisive call to deploy her ultimate weapon.

Hailing from the Future Kingdom of the New World, Whitey Bay owned a high-tech icebreaker. It had once shattered Aokiji’s frozen sea during the War of Marineford and had even rammed through Marineford’s fortifications.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The icebreaker roared forward at full speed, targeting Whitebeard Jr..

From afar, Stussy watched with narrowed eyes before shouting, "Son! Be careful!"

"Don’t worry, Mom!" Whitebeard Jr. responded in a dopey voice, completely unfazed by the approaching icebreaker. Instead, he raised his naginata and unleashed a powerful slash.

Boom!

With a single swing, the indestructible icebreaker was cleaved clean in half.

"What insane brute force…" Whitey Bay gasped, her eyes wide. She had made the right choice avoiding direct combat with this monster.

But now that the icebreaker was destroyed, how was she supposed to escape?

"Hand over my father Whitebeard’s treasure!" Whitebeard Jr. demanded, his nose running as he glared at Whitey Bay.

She gritted her teeth. "Whitebeard doesn’t have a son like you!"

"Lies!" Whitebeard Jr. roared, his fury intensifying.

With renewed rage, he swung his naginata at Whitey Bay with terrifying force.

His attacks, already formidable, became even more relentless. It wasn’t long before Whitey Bay found herself overwhelmed.

Peng!

A single strike shattered her ice defenses, sending her crashing into the ground. She was left gasping for breath, unable to continue fighting.

As Whitebeard Jr. loomed over her, his naginata raised high, Whitey Bay closed her eyes, bracing herself for the end.

Clang!

A sharp metallic clash echoed through the air. But the expected blade never struck her.

Someone had intercepted the attack.

Chapter 60: The Wrath of Whitebeard

Whitey Bay slowly opened her eyes and saw a towering figure looming before her.

The figure raised an arm hardened by Armament Haki and intercepted the incoming strike from Whitebeard Jr..

"Back off!" a calm but commanding voice rang out.

Lucas stood between Whitey Bay and his would-be assailant, his posture relaxed yet imposing. Behind him, Whitey Bay hesitated for a brief moment before quickly stepping back.

"Yes, Master Lucas!" she responded obediently.

Whitey Bay's eyes flickered with recognition as she studied Lucas. She had heard about this man—the new Leader of the Whitebeard Pirates.

Meanwhile, Whitebeard Jr. glared fiercely at Lucas, his expression filled with both confusion and hostility. "Who are you?" he demanded. "Why are you stopping me from claiming my father's treasure?!"

In the distance, Stussy's expression darkened as she realized the situation was taking a turn for the worse. Her shrill voice rang out in warning, "My dear son, be careful! This guy is no ordinary pirate. We need to retreat!"

Lucas let out a mocking chuckle. "Retreat?" His gaze was cold and unforgiving. "Do you really think you have the ability to escape?"

As soon as the words left his mouth, the sky above them darkened. An entire island descended from the heavens, crashing into the sea nearby. A group of powerful figures landed on the battlefield—the captains of the Whitebeard Pirates.

Stussy, who had been about to grab Whitey Bay as a hostage, froze. Her face drained of color as Marco and the others stood before her, their expressions unreadable but their intent unmistakable.

"Stussy," Marco greeted, his voice dripping with menace. "Long time no see."

He took a step forward, his sharp gaze fixed on her. "I heard some ridiculous rumors… that you were once someone our father loved?" His tone was laced with disbelief and disdain. "And that idiot over there is supposed to be the son you and our father had together?"

Marco scoffed, folding his arms. "You show up here, causing trouble for the Whitebeard Pirates, all for the sake of seizing our father's so-called treasure? Are you out of your mind?"

Stussy’s eyes darted nervously from Whitebeard Jr. to the gathered captains. Her lips curled into a forced smile, her demeanor shifting to one of desperate flattery.

"Marco, dear, why must we start off on such bad terms?" she sighed dramatically. "We’re old acquaintances, aren’t we? And besides, your father and I… we were a real couple!"

Marco’s patience snapped. "Bullshit!" he snarled. "The only family our father ever acknowledged was us—his crew, the Whitebeard Pirates! Everyone who sailed under him called him ‘Pops’ and was part of his family."

Stussy shook her head pityingly. "Oh, Marco, how naive. Back then, your father and I were both pirates. And pirates… they don’t publicize their love affairs. But I assure you, we shared something special."

She looked toward Whitebeard Jr., her expression sorrowful. "The proof of our love stands right there! My precious son. It’s a pity that your father refused to recognize him because he thought he was too… slow. But that doesn’t change the truth!"

Before Marco could retort, Lucas's chat group suddenly exploded with activity.

Whitebeard: "That damn woman! How dare she slander me like this! If I had known, I would have drowned her back when we were part of the Rocks Pirates!"

Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! Whitebeard, you sure you’re not just embarrassed? I mean… she does sound pretty convincing!"

Pirate King Roger: "Come on, Whitebeard! A real man takes responsibility! I mean, sure, Stussy’s a bit ugly now, but she was quite the looker in her youth. If something really happened between you two, I don’t see the big deal!"

Whitebeard: "You bastards! You’re both asking for a beating!"

Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! You keep denying it, but let’s be real… doesn’t Whitebeard Jr. look a lot like you? That raw strength—he’s terrifyingly strong with the same beard too, just like you were in your younger days. Hell, he even managed to cut off Black Arm Zephyr’s arm!"

Pirate King Roger: "Whitebeard, listen… just because he’s not too bright doesn’t mean he’s not your son! My son’s an idiot too, but I still acknowledge him!"

Fire Fist Ace: "Shut up! I don’t acknowledge you!"

Gold Thief Woonan: "I believe Whitebeard. He’s not the type to be swayed by lust."

Whitebeard: "Thank you, Woonan! At least someone has sense."

Gold Thief Woonan: "But honestly, Whitebeard Jr. does look suspiciously like you… are you sure you didn’t slip up somewhere?"

Whitebeard: "Damn it, NO!"

Lucas, who had been listening to the banter, suddenly spoke up.

Lucas: "What if Whitebeard Jr. is a clone? Like the Pacifistas, where they used Bartholomew Kuma’s clone as a base…"

Whitebeard fell silent for a moment. "Hmm… If that’s the case, then this situation just got a lot more disturbing."

Golden Lion Shiki: "You’re telling me! Just imagining an army of Whitebeard clones is terrifying!"

Lucas: "There must be limitations to cloning. Otherwise, with all the power the World Government has, they’d be mass-producing clones of Kaido and Big Mom by now. Wouldn’t it make more sense to just clone the strongest pirates instead of struggling to control them?"

Whitebeard: "Enough talk. We need to deal with these two pests first."
