Course of Temptation November Update Early Access (v0.7.3)

Hello friends! Early access for the November update is here.

This update's main focus is the addition of a new seasonal event: No Goon Gourdtober, wherein some of the college students challenge themselves, and each other, to go the whole month without an orgasm. It won't be easy, as temptations abound. You can participate for a chance at bonus inclinations, or attempt to spoil their run to gain Composure. New unique events are scattered throughout the month.

In addition, to support this event, we've added edging mechanics (a deferred orgasm now tends to be more satisfying) and chastity devices (which you can use yourself, or be gifted by a dom). Hee Ho has also added in a couple new clothing shops and added some new distinguishing features and other stuff.

Release notes

• Added a seasonal event known as No Goon Gourdtober, this universe’s take on No Nut November, where participating NPCs (usually the college students, though not all of them) will pledge to not orgasm all month

• There are several new events unique to this event, particularly if the PC is participating

• Encounters can still proceed as normal for participants, but have different end conditions — your participating partners will be content with edging

• Temptations will be frequent, and chances to fail will tend to multiply the longer you’ve gone without orgasm

• The consequences of failing — the fact you’ll have to tell your friends you’re out — lead to slightly easier Willpower checks when it comes to resisting orgasm during this time

• You’ll end up with a designated rival (usually a fuckbuddy, or at least a potential one) during this time who makes it their mission to outlast you, with several events attached

• Making somebody else break their No Goon Gourdtober oath is quite satisfying and will restore some Composure

• Once No Goon Gourdtober has ended, participating NPCs will be very eager to break their dry spell — participating NPCs will be more receptive to sex than usual until they’ve had an orgasm, and there are unique events attached to this as well

• Succeeding in lasting through the whole month will grant you a unique inclination — Tantric Willpower, which makes the easier orgasm resistance of No Goon Gourdtober permanent

• Failing to last for the whole month but making a good attempt (at least ten days) will grant you a unique inclination — Eager, which grants more Satisfaction for an orgasm achieved without edging

• Additionally, you can choose unique reward inclinations for participating — two inclinations for succeeding, or one for at least making a good attempt (at least ten days) (using suggestions from Hee Ho)

• The number of times you’ve edged is now tracked and results in greater satisfaction once you finally orgasm

• Added the Edgemaster inclination, which makes it easier to edge and grants additional Satisfaction when you do

• Added chastity devices which block sexual contact with your bits, lest you be tempted

• Especially dominant partners may wish to decree that you wear a chastity device that they hold the key to

• Hats have been recategorized from accessories to a new hats category of their very own

• The swimwear shop Dr. Cuttlefish has been fully implemented, as well as a new shoe shop known as Bootlicker (contributed by Hee Ho)

• Added several new clothing items at these new shops and others, such as swim googles, skirts with pockets, a transparent graphic top, and more (contributed by Hee Ho)

• Added several weird exclusive items, including drinks and sex toys, to Dr. Cuttlefish (contributed by Hee Ho)

• Added other various new things, including tattoos, hairstyles, and books, found at the usual places (contributed by Hee Ho and Meat Glacier)

• Updated outfits for NPCs with conservative style for consistency and variety (contributed by Hee Ho)

• Added several new distinguishing features, mostly PC-only (contributed by Hee Ho)

• The Character dialog and its various tabs have been rearranged slightly

• Added a Reputation tab to the Character dialog

• Added hangout/date and virginity memories to the Character dialog

• Your player character’s major is now displayed in the College dialog

• Most of the clothing stores in town now have dressing rooms where you can manage your outfit

• Dressing rooms are also new suitable quickie locations in case there’s anybody hanging out in these shops that you want to “catch up” with

• Added direct links to and from your bedroom in Greek houses

• You may now choose to wash only your dirty clothes. The future is here!
