Ghost Rider 1/5 Human head (advanced level)
Added 2025-04-08 18:33:01 +0000 UTCWhen I come across a challenge like this, I know it’s going to turn into an epic video. In this latest project, I took on three of the most difficult elements in painting: a realistic face, a textured skull, and flames, all in one piece.
The model was sculpted by the talented team at Wicked, and I brought it to life with a brush in hand. In the video, which runs for over 20 minutes, I take you through the entire process step by step, from the first strokes to the final details. Nothing is left out.

If you’re interested in seeing how I combine realism, texture, and bold visual effects in a single head, this video is for you.

It usually takes me about 5 hours to paint a head. The best advice I can give you is that until the end of the process you will never see what the paint job will be like. What differentiates a good painter is knowing what they want their result to be and continuing until they get it. Many times just before getting a good result everything seems chaotic and wrong, so you always have to not give up and continue until the end. And if you make mistakes and everything goes wrong, you will have learned a lesson.

2025-04-18 19:10:30 +0000 UTChi javi! i have one question, maybe general. how long it takes to you paint a realistic skin, i mean mostly videos and tutorials doesn't show how long it takes, because when im painting i have to wait until dry, that part is hard for me because you aren't seeing the final result until it completely dries, and if you uses transparator is like much more time, how do you manage the final tones or how much time i have to wait until layer to see the real color. thanks!

2025-04-18 10:39:15 +0000 UTCI explain it in the video on the other head, the color fluor yellow is tremendously saturated, so much so that it gives the artificial sensation, as you say for a strange color, that's why I only use it to prepare the surface, saturate mixtures and final details.
