(MA1-4) Intro first half block-out

Uh wow, 20 seconds already.

Welp, the aspect ratio I've picked for this animation starts to put sticks in wheels. It’s kinda hard to get a good frame with it in such a position.

For the intro part, I spent a while thinking about how the intro will look. It needs to be simple, short, and fitting to the scene. What I came up with is her being struck to the ground by roots. The scene will start after she is nailed to the ground, with her being annoyed by the fact she got caught.

I plan to make hoodwink more kind to roots. Like she knows she got in trouble, but doesn’t care as she will get out alive eventually, just with one nuance.

For the ending, you know what it will be.

For the backstory - “As some paths lay on territory with corrupted trees, Hoodwink starts practicing dodging tree roots. The zone she picked consists of less aggressive roots but with one thing. Even if they don’t harm the prey, they won’t leave it without proper care. After a while of training, she gets tired and makes one small but critical mistake which leads her to discover what the price is for getting out alive.”

Some info about projects

CA9 got to the point where I can’t make a WIP posts for a while. This is because work is done on the whole animation and I can’t fit a 40s animation into the post. Also, it starts to get messy so I don’t know how long it will take to finish it. I’m constantly encountering troubles with animating it. Thus, I want to take a break from it so I can gather my thoughts and continue working on it with a fresh mind.

Wait for new MA1 WIPs soon. It's a pleasure to work with it after all issues I'm getting in CA9.

Welp, my plans to upload a second block-out today were shattered by laggy OS. Currently, I making backups of everything I have and preparing to reinstall OS. If nothing else happens, I'll try to finish another 1/3 of the intro tomorrow.
