I know there's a fair bit of overlap between these options given the kink, but I love hearing about what kinds of settings appeal.

It usually ends up as a mish-mash with me eventually, either as urban fantasy, the scientific method used to understand the funny magic things, or "I dunno, it's just weird."

2024-09-09 19:13:50 +0000 UTC*Spins in office chair for a bit, thinking* I teeend to lean towards Science, since back when I actually wrote anything the split was 95% to 5% in favor of magic with stories/art and I felt there was more opportunity for as yet unexplored fwoompage based around Star Trek technobloonbabble. It's evened out since then, of course! But I'm still fond of the mad science sorts 'accidentally' overinflating their girlfriends, or their boyfriends who are now looking like their overinflated girlfriends, or everyone discovering that the elastic in their underwear's been *volumized* and so on and so forth. I'm not adverse to sneaking in the occasional Wand of Widening, however.
