2025-09-09 02:39:25 +0000 UTCThe brief scene that flashed during the moment when Subaru was blinded was of the hand grabbing his heart, so just his past trauma coming up again. Makes sense that he would be shadow though with his ability and what comes with it. I'm also glad you remembered the part where Emilia mentioned that going to the village could cause trouble for Subaru. A lot of people miss that detail. Seeing Subaru cry like that after being so exhausted and worn out by trying his best to not look suspicious to Rem and Ram, it made me cry as well. I don't think I've not cried at this scene no matter how I watch it. It's just feels too real and relatable, even if I haven't actually personally gone through what he has. It's just another sign of masterful writing imo. Also, I forgot to mention this before, but another fun fact: Roswaal's voice actor is the same as Dio's from JoJo! Overall, I'm super happy that you already noticed how important it is to pay attention to little details they slip into the story, as someone who has watched this show so many times, there always were some details here or there that I had forgotten or missed in my first two or three watches.
