This update features Riku and Sana, two OCs, for a request!

The original request was for one character, but I’ve always wanted to draw yuri, so I ended up drawing both of them! This is actually my first time drawing yuri, inspired by an OC yuri artist I recently connected with. Plus, I’ve been wanting to draw non-human yuri, so this furry yuri project became something I poured my heart into 💕

According to the reference materials, Riku has blue fur, and Sana has green fur. They’re university athletes (and both adults).

For their SFW outfits, I initially considered swimwear to reflect a private and casual vibe. After all, bikinis on furry girls are amazing! But as I worked, I leaned into their university setting and imagined outfits that would reflect their youthful energy, athleticism, and maturity as college students.

I imagined their style as sporty yet fashionable, incorporating elements of “rock” to emphasize their young adult vibe.

Riku’s style includes silver accessories for a rock edge, while Sana blends sporty looks with feminine touches, incorporating pink-gold accents and soft designs. To highlight their bond, I added symbolizing their deep connection and shared affection. While both wear some earrings, only one pair matches, symbolizing their shared affection.

Their outfits reflect how they enjoy their unique styles and express their "current" selves.

For the SFW version, I imagined the two dressing up for a date and enjoying their time together. Afterward, as their emotions grow stronger, they become completely absorbed in each other. In this moment, they embrace, gazing into each other's eyes with love and tenderness, sharing a kiss as if the rest of the world doesn’t exist.

Both the SFW and NSFW versions portray their loving and affectionate relationship, with Sana playfully taking the lead while Riku shyly responds to her advances.

Personally, I also think Sana is incredibly cute, and I hope I managed to capture her charm! Her hairstyle and expressions feel so endearing, with a hint of youthful innocence that made me want to emphasize her “college girl” vibe. Riku, on the other hand, inspired me to draw her with long, elegant eyelashes to highlight her beauty. I’m also very satisfied with how her hair turned out—it’s exactly how I imagined it!
