An Honest Question
Added 2023-11-21 19:41:49 +0000 UTCSo, I know one of my famous stories is The Dragon and the Fairies. It was my first ever try at writing a fanfic and like to think that my writing ability has drastically improved since those chapters. Now, I'm going to be honest with all of you, the main reason that I haven't really updated that story is because...I'm not really happy with how I built that story. Or, to be more specific, those really early chapters. And because of that, every time I think about updating that story, I just find myself lacking the motivation to.
Fairy Tail, despite its flaws, is still one of my favorite animes/manga. Even if the ending wasn't the greatest (I still haven't read 100 Year Quest), I still find enjoyment in the characters and world. Now, I still do want to write Fairy Tail smut, with Natsu still as the main protag, but I'm going to leave it up to you where I go from here. Do I continue down this (slightly cringy) path that I've built? Or, do I make something new and that I'm much happier with? I'd like some feedback before I make a final decision and I'll take whatever wins this poll into consideration.
To be honest, I'd much rather start from scratch, but I don't know if it's what y'all want. If the new story choice wins, then be rest assured that the harem elements/polyamory will still be a part of that story. As I do have a fondness for a lot of Natsu ships.

I can understand that. I've been on major hiatus and feel like I have a need to continue on my first fic (also a Fairy Tail story), even though I'm kinda regretting some of the key aspects of it after time. I say do what keeps you motivated.
