this time, I brought some of the more recent pieces I've done.
for these, I changed my coloring method a bit :3 instead of using multiply or overlay layers, I painted directly on top of the base color using clipping masks.
(you can see this in the Rattanya VI pieces and Get in the Cover 2)
apparently, painting shadows and highlights directly like this is becoming more of a trend lately.
I used to think, “do I even have a strong enough color sense for that...?”
but turns out, it works well for me!
you can always do color correction later anyway, right?
lately I’ve been focusing more on texture and how to make the image more enjoyable to look at, like with hair strands, fur texture, and little details like that.
the timelapses and PSD files should capture all of that care and polish.
