Hi all,
Just a short post to update you all with what we're planning over 2021. We know it's not at pretty as the last one, but we have too much to cram in for that more image-heavy format. This is not everything we will deliver this year, simply the major items we're working on. We consider this a target baseline of what you can expect 2021 content, however we also hope to surprise you with additional content each update. It's worth highlighting that game mechanics such as sailing/swimming, or combat mechanics such as stealth, are no longer considered separate stages in the roadmap - instead these will be delivered incrementally as part of the background monthly game improvements across 2021.
Biomes are also removed from the roadmap, as we'll be delivering these as part of the 'expanded world' element. Explaining the specifics of why would stray into spoilers, but suffice to say there are more varied lands than sand and rock on the horizon.
For those Anubites and Demigods wondering when their personal, persistent shrines will be accessible in-game, look no further than the Tomb of the Ascended. Not only will all Ascended Patrons (including ex-patrons) have their names recorded on the engravings of this hallowed place, but the ancient structure houses many long forgotten shrines that are only now being rediscovered, drawing in worshipers from far and wide. This imposing building is also the site of the Hall of the Founders, the home of the exclusive founder content.
Please be aware that we are still in pre-alpha and that this is an outline plan only; timings may vary depending on development priorities. We will update this roadmap should we adjust the order of content delivery or add additional items to it.

2021-06-24 23:56:33 +0000 UTCJust wanted to share my appreciation to the team for such an amazing game. I had initially signed up for Patreon to play Breeders Of Niflheim last year. However, with the lack of content and a "My game my rules" attitude toward player opinion on tweaks and future content from the creator I stopped my subscription. I silently vowed never to pay monthly for a Patreon game again. Until I played Carnal Instinct. I subscribed and unsubscribed because I just wanted to check out an "NSFW" game to keep me occupied for an hour or so, but this game is on another level! I found myself dodging sex scenes to hand quests in, exploring parts of the map that had no content to find secrets, and continued to play for hours after I had done and seen everything the game had to offer. That's how good the gameplay and mechanics are! I commented something on Patreon and got a response from the team the same day with a map to where the location of said item is! Which shows me how active and consumer-focused the team is. Since finishing the demo I have read everything the team has put out (available to my tier) and I am confident that every update will be worth donating for and will re-subscribe. I cant wait to see what's next! Sorry if this isn't the correct place to comment something like this, I will take it down and put it somewhere else if needs be. Oh, one more thing though... For the love of all that is holy, More inflation scenes!!!!!!!

It's less a case of 'waiting' to release humans and more that they are entirely different under the hood than the existing content. Humans need more morphs to meet a basic standard and males are a totally different proportion - we don't hold any content back, it just takes time to realise things fully. If we could push the content today we would. Photo mode has been pulled from the roadmap for the time being as we're totally redesigning it from our initial vision. It's not gone, but we need more time to decide where it sits in our list of priorities and, as mentioned in the main post, we'll update the roadmap when we add additional items to it (such as photo mode). I was kinda of curious as to why you are waiting on releasing human males and females or even just the females? I was drawn into this game first by its content but next by the fantastic art work, would really like to seeing humans in game just wondering what the plan was as well as photo mode? Anyway signed up for the avatar tier, you guys do some beautiful artwork keep it up!
