Hey friends! In the photoset with Tara that I recently posted I used 3 lights.
Main light (as very often) is a 160cm softbox on 1200D Aputure led and 2 back lights are 600x aputure leds.
First I put 2 lights in the back to create the shadow edge on the cyclorama close to the wall to have a separation between foreground with model and background /wall.
If there is no light falling to the wall , it turns darker right? I used normal reflectors with barndoors on the 600x lights to direct the light towards models back and have a control over the light edge on the floor with small adjustments to the barn doors.
Another alternative here (if you dont like the double shadow on the floor, created by 2 lights) would be to use only 1 aputure 600x for backlight and put it on a boom closer to the middle, to have more symmetry. Just try to keep it outside of your frame to reduce the possibility of flares and light getting straight into ur lens.
I put a grid on my 160cm softbox to also have more directional lighting from it and to keep the light from spilling around the studio. Otherwise there would be more light coming from the front onto the background and the grey would be lighter.
