Performance feedback

Hi everyone!

I am collecting feedback in light of frequent complains regarding performance of the models.after several troubleshooting sessions I narrowed down the problem to amount of shapekeys which a lot of reviewers tewnd to agree with, as you know I focus on customisation, however a lot of people complain that there are a lot of rudimentary options that are making models hard to use, with that being said, I want to know which sections of the morphs you use a lot and which sections you think are unnecessary? I will upload a testing model today and I will need to hear your feedback regarding performance & customisation balance.

I will say that the models themselves also just seem generally to be heavier all in all these days as well. Loading in the textures takes longer than I am used to with other models, and having cleaned out almost all the shape keys from Ingrid Hunnigan, then deleted all clothing and the likes, and then purged all the unused data from the session, she still eats about 8.5gb of VRAM during renders. I'm not a model maker so I don't know the minutia of it all, but for comparison your Lady Dimitrescu model, with clothes, loads in very quickly and performs at about 2.5gb of VRAM under similar lighting conditions. Just an observation.

I can't speak for others, but as an animator I've found the basic shape key structures (larger breasts, larger butt for instance) sufficient as they expand the vertexes nice and evenly so it's easier to create my own shape keys for sculpting purposes. All in all I generally use perhaps a handful of the existing keys on your models to make my own work easier, and more often than not the more basic ones. Muscles though, as someone else noted, are also welcome as it's a big time saver to not have to sculpt too much of them yourself. I recognize perhaps not everyone does their own sculpts, but there is a whole lot of overlap in my eyes that can be removed in that sense.

Just started playing around with a few of your models. I think you can definitely cut down on the number of overlapping shapekey sets. Like you have a bunch of different sets just for breasts. Might be best to pick one set that has the best selection and stick with that.
