I apologize for the delay and any concern it may have caused. It's busy season for ionDivvy right now, with Chapter 20 coming alongside the Steam release of RD.
My goal is to release Chapter 20 by the end of September and resume a normal schedule for the game afterwards. However, there's a chance this could slip into early-mid October if the Steam build runs into unexpected problems. I would really prefer this not to happen, as I already feel bad about how long this chapter has taken to release.
Looking ahead, from Chapter 21 onwards, I would like to add more content that appeals to me personally. In recent months, Casual Desires has been a bit of a struggle for me to work on, and I think a large part of that has been due to me favoring community suggestions over my personal vision. While I will continue listening to feedback and incorporating suggestions where they make sense, I also want to prioritize the ideas I'm most excited about, as I believe this will help bring fresh energy to the game.
In addition, I'll be developing a Steam version for Casual Desires over the next couple of months. There's a few areas that need changes and improvements before I can send the build to Valve for review. I had hoped to do this sooner, but releasing Chapter 20 is the priority right now.
I hope you enjoy the teaser images shared above. There isn't too much left to describe regarding this chapter, though that could change if extra scenes are added prior to the release.

If Rita chooses to have an open relationship with Violet, then the two will become a couple, and Rita will still have the freedom to have sex with other people. Of course, Rita can still choose to have sex with other people while in an exclusive relationship (not open relationship), but this will be considered cheating and her partner might get upset if they find out. Making it an open relationship removes this jealousy aspect. As for Luna, she can definitely become addicted to sex like Rita. Her having sex with the club leader at the Art Society is the first step towards this direction. Later, Luna will be able to have sex with her professor, multiple other members of the club, and even strangers. The player will get to decide how innocent or perverted Luna will be.

2024-08-30 17:05:27 +0000 UTCThanks - I appreciate the feedback. I can completely understand why some Casual Desires fans might have been concerned and/or considered leaving. There's definitely been more of a focus towards RD in recent months, which is partly due to the upcoming Steam release, but also motivational struggles with CD that I think started to surface around Chapter 17. If I can add more ideas that personally excite me, I think I can have the game return to its usual pace, which was a new chapter every 3 months. The game is relatively close to completion now (I'd expect between 25-30 chapters in total), so I'm committed to bringing things to a satisfying conclusion for everyone.

Don't get me wrong, I totally understand your priority for the other game and you have my respect for developing two different games at the same time (more or less). And I understand your struggles to write something that doesn't benefits your own enjoyment as much as other one's (I can relate to that, because writing stories for other people and putting everything into it so both parties are happy is a challenging thing.) I think I speak for many if I say, I'll patiently wait for any new updates and look forward to where the story of these girls will lead. As you mentioned it in your reply I personally don't like all of your ideas for the story, but you are the creator of this story, so it's only your decision what will happen and which idea doesn't make the cut. I appreciate it if you acknowledge player feedback and put ideas into it, but nobody can force you to do so, so don't worry about that. Everyone can decide when the game has changed too much for their expectations and move on to another one. There will always be people who enjoy the stuff you make. ๐

For example: - Rita sends images/videos of her sexual exploits to a friend of her choosing. The sex scene is presented entirely through chat messages. If she sends it to Josh/Connor, they get jealous as Rita teases them about it. - Rita corrupts a nerdy girl with glasses into dressing more provocatively, dying her hair, and being more sexual. - Sex scenes involving different settings and characters, presented through Rita playing porn games on her computer. (This can also be a way for me to experiment and decide what the successor to Casual Desires will be.) I have no idea if players are interested in ideas like this, but I'd like to add them into the game for my own enjoyment.
