Reaching down he swiped his massive gloved fingers through the bloody foot print. Smearing it between his leather coated fingers he could tell that it was 20-30 minutes old at most. Looking down he could see the prints turn and smear. The Troopers face split in a lopsided grin. The fucker probably heard him as he drove around the building, maybe even when he pulled up to the building to come in. Looking at the foot prints lead off down the dark hall he knew his prey had escaped him for now. He liked the idea of fear driving his prey onward. The trooper stood and followed, the warmth of the hunt filling his limbs.
