And we're back... ish!

Hi everyone!

I don't want to jinx it, but things here may be turning a corner. Life is starting to settle down a bit and if things continue along their current trajectory, normal service should resume imminently. For now, I'm going to try and commit to one to two updates a week.

For Prefect-and-up supporters, the next picture pack is almost ready to roll out, and should only be a few days away. For the rest of you, you'll be wanting to know how things are going I assume? Well, as I've mentioned, work has been continuing behind the scenes ^^

The new quest is advancing nicely. Maps are made, character models are polished and most of the writing is done. It's now being integrated into the game and as you saw before, I've also started some of the rendering. I'm hoping to have a few more previews to show off soon.

Also appearing in this release are a couple of great new school events, which I'll talk more about later when I have something to show. In the last round of previews, we saw the whole class getting their kits off and we'll soon be finding out why! We'll also be meeting a brand new character, the long-foreshadowed school nurse - feared among the girls not for being a strict disciplinarian like the teachers, but for being an outright filthy pervert! (Think Miss Boceta but younger and hotter. And wearing a nurse's uniform all day!)

One thing that's been occupying my time is the incredibly boring and tedious job of implementing quest hints for the remaining quests. This is not much fun, but it does mean that from 0.9 onwards all Missy quests, including the new one will have those useful little arrows telling you where to go next.

I have to say that you, my loyal supporters are amazing and have never once so far leaked the game during its exclusive period. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this. As a small token of my gratitude, all future exclusive releases of the game will include a full gallery unlock feature. It's already implemented for 0.9.

The Roadmap

I'm now almost caught up with the backlog that had built up. The picture pack, as I mentioned will be next, with the backed up one to follow, and if things continue this way, I'll shortly also be caught up with the last outstanding commissions and in a position to offer those again.

I'm confident that I can deliver 0.9 this side of Christmas, (now somehow just 7 weeks away!) But whether there's also time for a Christmas offering this year remains to be seen. Fingers crossed. I'd like to do it, but I also don't want to give myself some sort of breakdown in the process!

Apple Fees

A reminder for Apple users that from this month, the Apple store will begin adding a surcharge to new subscribers. You are not affected as an existing member (or at all if you're subbing any other way,) but if you decide to cancel and then resub later, don't do it from your iphone if you want to avoid these new charges!
