So... much... work...
Added 2024-08-26 23:50:27 +0000 UTCHi everyone. I figured I'd better check in since I didn't want to miss the Monday update twice in a row and last Friday's post was just a public bugfix.
My life is currently the most insane it's ever been, my partner has injured herself and this leaves me doing the work of two very busy people, so if I miss updates here and there, you know why!
Slave to Love is currently at the writing stage, and if I'm repeating myself here, ignore me, it's just the exhaustion talking! I have the story outlined and I'm now just filling in the blanks. The good thing about this stage of development is that I can pick it up and put it down easily enough, snatching little opportunities to work wherever they present themselves.
This update will mostly focus on home, with new events there to complement Slave to Love. I'll be polling the council on what else they'd like to see go in there, but space might be a bit limited as during this development cycle, I also want to tidy up a bunch of coding on Poppy's story, because as I mentioned previously, both Bad Girl's Bitch and Down with the Bad Girls are showing their age now and are prone to bugs. These two quests date all the way back to 0.2 and with everything I've learned since then, I'm sure I can make them a lot more stable. Maybe I'll have time for some image remastering while I'm at it, but we'll see.
I'd like to have time to make a Christmas game again this year too, but we'll see how that goes. As it stands, it's currently only 4 months until Christmas. Where the hell did 2024 go?!
For now though, it's on with 0.9. I hope you're all looking forward to it!
