True. The envoys used a larger glass mirror, but the guards wouldn't know there was such a thing, and how much better it was than polished bronze.

They would be much smaller, and many would be made of polished metal instead, with a duller imperfect reflection. Seeing a reflection that true to reality wouldn't be something a person with the socioeconomic class of the guards would have had much experience with.

2025-03-28 19:40:33 +0000 UTCI don't recall if you said but the guards are at a good distance from the windows so it's going to be harder to tell the two envoys apart. Maomao thinks that it has to be far enough away to mistake a mirror image for a real person.
