I know ppl say the training makes him tougher but yea I agree that isnt enough to tank what those hits looked like. However Capella said she doesnt kill / wasnt trying to kill him so I just chalked it up to that personally. That thing where the bad guy toggles non-lethal and shows a lethal combo, still non-lethal tho lol. The fall into the water yeah if the blood heals during transformation or smth that works too.

2025-02-16 20:14:02 +0000 UTCPertaining to the Subaru indestructibiliy point, I think it's fair to say he's gotten significantly stronger since season 2. Don't forget that it's been over a year since then, and he's been training hard ever since. Hell, the first scene kicking off season 3 is him finishing a tough obstacle course, kind of signaling a physical accomplishment on his end.

2025-02-16 20:12:37 +0000 UTCDo not forget that Subaru trained for a whole year. He is not as weak anymore by any means physically. That he survives those attacks is not that strange by now. We just tend to forget the power scalings with the kind of crazy individuals we have in this verse lol There would also be no way in hell S1 and S2 Subaru could lift that big ass piece of rumble up with a whip and launch it towards Capella, which again showcases his gains he made.
