I will point out however you two actually brought it up and then missed the simple and obvious hint, the twins are blond and Ai was not. Here is dad with the missing hair color that "dad" from the other couple also didn't have. Basically yeah it's not a spoiler since the show already put it out there, but Akane saw it: died in a *murder suicide*, and while there are many things that could lead to that outcome there is the glaring obvious one of a cheating spouse.

I mean, I watched the next two episodes and that possibility never ever crossed my mind. It still could totally be possible, I guess, but how the heck can you even begin to theorize about that with only a handul of seconds of exposition of this new character? How??? If you do it sometimes it can be fun, but doing it almost EVERY single freaking time is... too much. Absolutely not going to renew my patreon, maybe in the future if they somehow get better (doubt it), but right now they fell off big time from multiple points of view. Sayonara.
