Awesome advice. I think I'll keep that in mind if I ever try to write a villain story again. Probably not anytime soon, but I might in the future.

2024-06-19 02:17:14 +0000 UTCMy only complaint with this this one shot is our MC and only because he has no real motivation. He is an individual who was just trying to survive and make some kind of living in the underside of society and just falls into AFO’s hands, who proceeds to take a gamble on a surprisingly capable individual. After that he is AFO’s yes man and new hand to take the world. It just feels so…. mercenary. And one could say that is realistic, but who really wants realism in their fiction if it will get in the way of something compelling. The MC really just needed a goal of his own that he wanted to see through. Something that would set him against modern day society and that he would have gladly either used or worked with the people around him to complete it. It could have been any type of revenge against society or him just being a psychopath wanting to see the world burn, just something to set him apart as simply an underling. I still enjoyed reading it and it’s my only complaint. Can’t wait for whatever else you put out but I do hope we can eventually get back to Fabricator sometime soon. Stay safe!

I'll need to sit down and do some serious plotting to get back to Fabricator. I think I want to do a visit to the underworld, a visit to Yasaka, then a time skip to canon.
