Who Let This Spider Cook?! Ch.36

— ??? —

Slowly, her eyes opened, and she found herself in her favorite place in all of Nazarick!

Her home! The very place she came into existence!

…But no one was here with her. A pang of loneliness washed over her.

That wouldn’t do.

No, she needed to find the others and maybe even the Supreme Beings! That way, she could have plenty of fun!

Even better, she could find her Papa! Then they’d be able to rule this Tomb together!

Haha! She was so smart, Papa was going to love her idea!

But first…she needed to make a plan that would let all the Inhabitants of Nazarick know their place!

Yes, she knew just the thing that would leave them absolutely shocked

— Kakuei —

I walked out of the War Room with Momo beside me.

That meeting was very…informative. So informative in fact that I’m glad we had it.

“You look excited, Dear.” Momo said, earning my attention. I shot the woman I love a wide grin, and pulled her into my side, momentarily catching her off guard, but she relaxed in my grip and we continued walking.

“I am, perhaps more than ever.” I meant what I said. Ever since we got to this world, I have been worrying left and right, wondering how we’ll adapt, how things will go, where Joni and Vampira are—its been a massive headache.

But now, I could for a moment, enjoy myself while getting shit done.

Which leads us to where we are going now.

The Sixth Floor Arena.

Now that we had learned more about the Skills of this world, it was time to put them to the test against a real opponent.

So, that’s exactly what we’d do.

My hand sank into Megumi’s soft side as I gripped her waist just a little tighter. I spared her a glance, and for a moment, I truly looked at her new appearance.

Seeing it in the game, and seeing it in person were like two completely different experiences. Her hair was white, but not just any white. So white that it seemed to shine and shimmer in the light. Her eyes were blood red, no different than the color of blood—and her body

She looked absolutely delicious, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want a bite.

Later though…

We had some powers to explore after all!

Momonga and I made our way through the halls of the Nineth Floor, opting to take our time instead of teleporting to the Arena immediately.

As we walked through the halls, I raised a brow at the sight of Rubedo standing in the middle of the hall. Her gaze quickly locked onto our forms, and she dropped to a knee.

“Lord Kakuei, Lady Momonga.”

“Rubedo.” I frowned slightly. “Did I not give you a job to uphold?”

“You did, my Lord.” Rubedo answered with her head lowered. “Although, I am not needed at the moment. Lord Touch Me brought both Lady Saeko, and Lady Sayuri to the Treasury, and I was relieved of my duty for the day.”

“I see…” My shoulders visibly relaxed, and I released a breath I didn’t know I was holding. I already knew from the canon that the Nazarick NPCs were made to be loyal, and with me having a part to play in many of their creation, my faith in them was further strengthened.

That being said…Rubedo was different.

She was made to be loyal to the Guild Leader above all else, or more specifically, me. Meaning she would carry out my orders above the orders of any of the other Supreme Beings, should our orders contradict.

The fact that she listened to Touch Me…I could assume a few reasons for why that may be the case, the main one being the fact that she was essentially ordered to guard new Surpreme Beings and those beings ordering her away wouldn’t necessary be going against my order, just finding temporarily relief in it.

Either way, it was something I would need to test more thoroughly in the future, because we couldn’t be too sure.

Rubedo is a powerful NPC after all, strong enough to give several Supreme Beings a run for their money, and comparable to a World Champion in regards to stats and abilities.

“Then, until they find your protection necessary once more, you will stand by my side.”

“As you command.” She lowered her head once more, before getting up and following Momonga and I’s walking forms.

Our walk was silent as we continued on until we reached our first destination.

As we walked into an open door filled with white light, we saw a beautiful landscape of Japanese cherry blossoms and a large shrine.

“Lord Kakuei, Lady Momonga.” A feminine voice greeted.

We walked closer to the shrine, and at the steps was a black-haired woman with very soft features and prominent makeup. Her body was supple and soft, much like a mature woman, and her black hair and silver eyes gave her a cool, relaxing air.

“Aureole Omega.” Momonga greeted her with an unrestrained smile.

“Have you been waiting for us?” I asked curiously. This room was created with the ability to see where everything in Nazarick, every room, every floor, everything. The only condition was being deemed an ally of Nazarick with the correct permissions. It was the center of Nazarick because it existed on every floor, and was the main way for those without the Ring of Hell’s Paradise to travel around through the floors.

“I have.” She said with a gentle smile. “You wish to display your glorious presence to all those on the Sixth Floor, correct?”

“Indeed.” I nodded and crossed my six arms.

“Then, with your permission, I will send both Lord Kakuei and Lady Momonga there.” Aureole looked past both of us and spotted Rubedo; a teasing smile tugged at her lips. “Oh, and how could I forget Nazarick’s Strongest Subordinate, Rubedo.”

Rubedo eyed the woman with no expression, making Aureole giggle into her hand. “You never change, do you, RuRu.”

I blinked at that. RuRu?

“Yes, we are ready,” Momonga spoke up, snapping me out of my questioning gaze.

“Then, enjoy yourselves, Supreme Ones.” Aureole smiled, and with a flash, we vanished, appearing just outside the white door on the Sixth Floor.

“Let’s continue.” I offered, smiling a bit when I felt Momonga lean just a bit harder into my side. The softness of her body, and smell were truly intoxicating.

Tonight…I would enjoy myself a bit, tonight.

We continued our walk all the way to the Sixth Floor Arena. As Momo, Rubedo, and I walked into the arena, we were immediately greeted by the sight of Buku, Mare, Aura, and Nishi standing in the middle of the arena, talking amongst one another.

“Lord Kakuei, Lady Momonga!” Aura called out, rushing over to us.

As she grew closer, she attempted to come to an abrupt halt, but I didn’t allow such a thing.

I reached my arms out, all six of them, and scooped her up in a tight hug. At first, her body didn’t respond to my embrace, but moments later, she hesitantly wrapped her arms around the front half of my body.

“Have you been enjoying yourself, Aura?” I asked, pulling away from the girl. Her cheeks were burning red as she looked down. I could practically feel the surprise that was running through her body at my sudden show of affection.

“...Mhm.” She nodded, and I placed a hand on her head and laughed.

“Good, now let’s not keep your mother waiting.”

Again, another shy nod from her.

Seriously, this girl was adorable. Now I see why Buku was so clingy with the two dark elves.

“You two sure get along nicely.” Buku said as we neared the group. I could practically hear her teasing nature in her tone.

“Of course we do, I ran my hand through Aura’s hair. Right, Aura?”

“R-Right!” She nodded, growing a bit more confident as a small smile tugged at her lips.

I glanced at Mare, giving the boy a smile, one he returned nervously.

It’s fine. I’ll have plenty of time to warm these two up for me.

Having the insanely powerful title, World Eater, definitely wasn’t doing me favors, but I knew once they got to know me, they’d come to see that I wasn’t some monster that they should fear-

Well…I am a monster…but not one they should fear!

“Nishi.” I greeted the quiet Supreme Being. “I didn’t expect you to be here so soon.”

“Had I not come fast, there would have been a chance I missed you and Momonga practice with these new Skills we’ve acquired, Master.”

“Fair enough.” I chuckled, then extended my hand. A dark miasma began to seep from my palm, and several objects clattered against the ground a moment later.

Both Aura and Mare went wide-eyed in awe as they looked at the golden armor in front of me.

“L-Lord Kakuei…is that?!” Aura shouted, her eyes gaining sparkles in them.

“It is, Aura.” I laughed heartily, picking up the helmet. “This is the will of the Supreme Beings given form. The weapon we spent an unthinkable amount of time pouring our hearts into.”

“Then, it’s truly the Legendary Armor of Hell’s Paradise: Hell’s Parade!” Aura shouted out, her body shaking with excitement as she stared deeply into the armor’s golden shine.

“Indeed.” I nodded with an impressed grin as I looked down at the armor.

“This armor is not only the Ultimate weapon of Hell’s Paradise but also its Ultimate defense.”

“That’s so cool!”

“Mhm!”

Both Aura and Mare marveled at the armor, and a glance at Momo told me she was also impressed by it.

In the game, its texture was great; it was gold, but it lacked the sheer shine it had now. The light was almost blinding when you stared at it for too long, and the armor seemed to be shimmering. It was as if it didn’t have a stagnant color, constantly pulsating brighter and then growing darker.

Indeed, in the Real World, it was much more impressive

“Well then, perhaps we should move things along.” I offered, putting on the helmet and touching my chin.

This armor, like the original Guild Weapon, the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown, could summon Primal Elementals, and while I knew how to use that feature in the game, using it in this world didn’t come as easy.

Eh, fuck it. I’ll wing it. If I look like an idiot, at least three people here will understand why.

“Summon, Primal Fire Elemental!” I waved my hand out, and initially, nothing happened, but suddenly, in the middle of the arena, embers began to spark out.

“Momo, can you give us a shield?” I quickly called out to her, earning a quick nod as she summoned her staff and raised it to shield us from the glowing embers. Soon, the embers had grown into giant flames that consumed the whole middle of the Arena!

A firestorm raged out, hitting Momonga’s shield. It likely would have done a bit of damage to us if Momonga hadn’t put up the shield. Nothing too noticeable for anyone here, but better safe than sorry.

After half a minute, the excess fire cleared, and floating in the arena was the Primal Fire Elemental.

“Primal Fire Elemental,” I called out, earning its attention. I waited for a moment to see if it would act by itself but grinned when I saw that it was just floating there, awaiting my orders.

Good. It seems to work the same way as the game.

“So…who wants to go first?”

Author’s Note: I had planned for this chapter to go further into the story, but I must have gotten carried away at the beginning because before I knew it, I had already written an entire chapter.

Expect the next chapter to be dropped tomorrow.
