Only having those call sings was never a problem before this point, while on mission or talking with her they always only used call sings, so she didn't think to ask them for different names. The cat came up in conversation, she didn't know a name for the cat so she asked about it. Back when playing MMOs it wasn't a rare thing for a pet and it's name to come up in a conversation over TeamSpeak way before asking people on the internet about their real names. Didn't mean people were racist towards each other because they asked about the name of a pet before the name of a guild mate. Hell there are colleagues at work who I only knew by nickname for months when I first started working there, without remembering their real name, if they had a pet and it came up in conversation I might have come to know their pets name before remembering their real name.
